Still seems like a temporary fix - if the clay pipe keeps shifting at the joins, the liner will just crack and you're back where you started. Seems like you'd be better off just digging it up with a mini excavator and replacing it all with PVC

About 15 years ago the sewers in front of my house were relined. I got to talking with the relining crew and they let me stand in the truck and watch the footage from the camera as they cut out the side openings for the junctions. There were joysticks and buttons for controlling the cutting head and sled. They knew the locations by running the cutting sled up the pipe prior to the reline and wrapping tape around the cable every time there was a junction. Different colours for different directions from memory. Very cool.
