I had a power outage over night and when power restored my tv came on and the last thing I was watching was a su day ticket channel so I had burned DirecTV straight across my 60 lg plasma. So sad. I have owned the tv 8 years and avoided burning the picture this far. The burn was pretty bad it went unnoticed for some time since the tv was in my basement. I ran this at .25 speed for about 24 hours with it on vivid (high contrast) and it is almost completely gone. It is only noticeable on complete black screens and barely. This truly saved my tv. Thanks
@@cimbakahn I ran it for 24 hours. This was over a year ago almost 2 now the TV still has it ever so slightly there but it doesn't bother me as it's just my football tv and as stated, it is only visable on black screens.
I got the 50 inch version and still using it daily to this very day. If you still have the ghost image this same channel has a colour version that I run all the time coz I play video games and health bars etc get burnt in all the time. Works a charm! ruclips.net/video/4Zs1j26OQTM/видео.html
This is genius. I have a “vintage” Panasonic Viera from 2009 and I was stupid enough to pause Netflix with the logo white on black, along with some other screechy high contrast patterns. I thought I had ruined my screen (and I really love this TV). I’m so thankful this video (and others like it) exist here readily available and free. The screen is now completely wiped clean, even some old subtitle tracks are gone. So thank you!
Thank you, running this for only a few minutes completely removed the image retention caused by subtitles on my 12-year-old Panasonic TH-42PZ80E plasma tv!
Pretty sure it is built-in in the service menu of the tv; just press v- on the keyboard and, without releasing, rapidly press zero three times on the remote, when the menu comes up, press the red button on the remote two times: the plasma screen wipe will appear.
After pausing a RUclips video a static message was on the screen overnight. The image was burned on my Panasonic Viera plasma television. I tried several other "fix" videos that did nothing. I tried this Plasma Screen Wipe and it worked! Thank you for creating and posting this video.
I had this thing and one other video on here rolling for hours and hours on my probably almost 20 year old Sharp Plasma TV. It had some burn in of my old desktop background and some audio editing software. I think I managed to clear it for the most part. It wasnt very bad though, just looked ugly in some colors and from some angles. Thanks for this, Burn in Doctor! You're the real Mr. Beast!
I recently purchased a 2004 viera 42 inch panasonic plasma television as a joke off of ebay for nine Australian dollarydoos but it turns out i love it and its one of my favourite tvs now up there with the 40 inch sony lcds , i really really like this tv now. The panasonic viera plasma is magical and i dont think i have any image burn issues, but. There is a little moisture border on the top of the glass and sides as well, edge of screen glass is maybe a little wet or dirty on the inside not sure.... thanks tho this is a helpful comments section and good video
Was watching some content on twitch. Power went out. Had burn in afterwards. Left the TV for almost the whole duration of the video on and the burn in is completely gone.
This channel has colour one that will get rid of any remaining ghosting. I use it regularly coz I play video games for hours and health bars etc burn in all the time. Run it for a couple hours and it should be perfect again. ruclips.net/video/4Zs1j26OQTM/видео.html

Unreal! I never noticed it before but now that I've watched it, I don't understand how I was living life without seeing it! It really was a life changing experience!
6-7 year old Panasonic has burn in from Red Dead Redemption 2's HUD. It's not super bad, and it's only noticeable on a fully black or white screen. I've had this running for just only 10 minutes with the screen on full brightness, and it's already looking MUCH better. I plan on leaving it on while I have dinner (another 20-30 minutes). It certainly seems to be doing the job.
Hi. Will this help with sparkling/firing pixels? I have a Pioneer Kuro LX6090 which has some white sparkling pixels biased to the upper and lower parts of the screen in certain dark scenes...
The panasonic viera has this video built in the t.v already, just found it out now(dec.8th,2022) the menu settings, scroll down to setup, then scoll down to anti image retention, then select scroll bar. It will be the same exact thing as this video. Hope this helps.
Julie Froese it works best if used on regular basis. Once a burned in image has stayed there for a while it becomes harder to clear. But if you use this as a treatment on weekly basis it will help prevent future burn in as well as slowly work on the old ones.
I’ve been using a different “burn in fix” for the last few weeks and it failed to fix my Samsung Plasma burn in. However the one I was using has all sorts of colors whereas this one is just black and white. Can you tell me how this black and white one differs and if it will work on my Plasma? My screen has the banner for Fox News burned into it 😒
The one which had all sorts of colours is for OLED or QLED only ! This one is for lcd tvs. You should try this one if you have lcd. If you dont know try this one and if it works it work, and if it doesn’t, it doesnt .
@@alexjiafei plasma is definitely a display type, it uses gas inside a thin panel to generate an image instead of LEDs. not all flat displays are plasma, and none of the modern ones are, they stopped being made in 2011
Burn in happens when Pixels display something for a long time without movement. This will remove long term burn in (burn that doesn't go away from lack of use or just with normal use) but won't really help with preventing it
It would not work on an OLED screen. Plasma TVs work differently. A plasma works by light bulbs that project the image you see vs a panel like most other TVs you see.
@@yunglion82 only one thing will fix your burn in, is you need to burn the entire display so you wouldn't notice the burn in, so use White color and make it static so your phone screen will be burned but evenly or flashing colors but same results

I can tell you its not burned, its just the pixels getting too much power at once so they stay on, and thats why it will look like its burned.
I believe this is supposed to be run for 8 hours. You probably would benefit more from it then.

This is a built-in feature of your “vintage” Panasonic Viera in the Setup/Anti Image retention.
It actually has none of that. No such option under Setup.

Did it work on your plasma TVs?
this is very good and effective screen repair application..
Does it work for DSE on a Qled tv?
So....? If I play this on my plasma tv with a burnt in image, for 3 hours and that will fix it?
Julie Froese in theory, yep. the longer you play the video the more noticeably would the burn in go away

What tv was this on? On the F8500 if you crank the cell light to 20 you can get anything out in 30 minutes .
Panasonic plasma for me...
Eight hours straight of that... didn't work. =__=
You only need like 5-10 minutes of this btw. No need for 3 hours. Thanks though. Left a game on for an hour and it burned.
any luck on LG OLED screens?
What type i have a Lg stylo 3 plus
I also wanna know. Got some vertical bending and its only 2 wees old
