I just want to thank the uploader. I have used for about 2 years on my 50' Plasma every time I defrag. The screen is getting old now and gets burn in's often, but this fixes that perfectly. I prefer plasma for my lounge room gaming rig and I hate smart TV's so I need this screen to last as long as possible. Cheers mate.
yep because we hang onto good tech and don't buy any for 5 years while all the normie consoomers buy whatever crap they get 2 times a year. that's why its all smart tv's that force ads on you when you turn them on. you can still get perfectly serviceable off brand dumb tvs btw ;D
I run this anytime I watch a movie in widescreen to "clean" the top and bottom black bars. Next Day looks perfectly normal. This one video has helped extend my TV well beyond its presumed lifespan.
@@1978SOOTY naw g its time to get an oled. you dont have to connect them to a network. lg lets you turn off all that extra ui shit if you dont want to deal with it. side note you could always just buy a big ass monitor lol.
Awesome to hear of another who's keeping a plasma set going! What you describe is most likely image retention, which unlike burn-in is temporary. Hopefully your panel is still free of screen burn! If the image retention is getting chronic, you can look up how to slightly raise the VS voltage on your panel. This will help a bit, and will make the screen brighter again, at the expense of a bit of panel lifespan. (Only adjust VS voltage, not VA!) I've got a Samsung PN50C550 that's going on 15 years old now and with this technique it still looks great!
Nearly freaked out when my iMac Pro had my app logos burned in the screen... after 30 minutes of playing this video, everything is back to normal. THANK YOU!
Best fix for plasma I've found! Fixed my Panasonic plasma up in a few hours. Had a weird magenta spectrum burn in that only was visible when certain colors were on screen, so it was hard to see if it was fixed after several attempts with other burn-in fixes. With this one I watched it fade away over about three hours while I caught up on some reading.
Works quite well, Had a burn in of the Sims 3 bars at the bottom of my screen on my LG 50 inch plasma. Ran it in a loop for over 5 hrs. Had a blanket over the screen so I could sleep. The burned in images were gone when I woke up. Will use again if anything else burns in.
this helps a bit with the screen-grid effect / scanlines that form over time on my LG34GK950F. I ran it at 2x speed. Doesnt completely get rid of it, but it did help. dont run for too long tho. Then follow up with a video of complex 4k textures
I left this on my tv cause I had a black shadow in the middle I can still see but it was just dark in the middle and this lighten it up a little I’m leave it on longer see what happens
Sounds like screen tearing. A real bugaboo these days. The code that causes it could be anywhere from the program that generated the plasma, to the program that captured it, the youtube player you're watching it on, the browser running the youtube player program, your operating system, the drivers for your graphics card, the card itself, or even the hardware in your monitor. Only one thing along that whole chain has to be messed up and boom, you've got screen tearing. But at least now you know what it's called, maybe you can troubleshoot it.
K2Mountain83 Try it with white noise ,select a channel without reception (for instant channel 0 )and leave the Plasma on it for a couple of hours or a night . I don't know how bad the burn in is ,but it will make a difference .
If it's a really bad burn-in, then nothing might help I'm afraid. If it´s a light burn-in, it can help but needs to be on for a good 4-8 hours. White noise can also help but your TV can be more sensitive for the intense black/white action going on so I'd go easy with it. But this is just me talking from personal experience (long time owner of Plasma TV:s)
@@bryanp4827 ruclips.net/video/LdbqwF_KCzI/видео.html been using this for oled phones works pretty damn god in my book. its a little harsh if you use it too much. it will definitely work but it will eat away at your peak nit levels after enough time. i recommend using it in 20 min intervals at 2x speed.

@DamageIncM it wears out the pixels around the dead pixels making the screen darker
