👏 Got my MB2 over the weekend. It's great. I've had Helix LT, Stomp and the Ampero Stomp 2. Sure it has less features and probably less control but to be honest, I like it. I plug my guitar in and within a couple of minutes have a gnarly guitar tone. I've not even bothered adding any IR's yet either... just using the stock "cabs" (SLO 4x12) that comes with it. I will say though, that the USB C cable is cheap and nasty (exactly like the Ampero one) and like the Ampero one, would disconnect randomly from my PC. Swapped it out for a decent braided cable and it's rock solid.
this is almost double the price of the original matribox but print a BOSS logo on it and sell it for 500, these units are just that good IMO! cheers 🎸🎸

Hi Taylor. I'm thinking of buying the Amperium Live, do you think they will support the unit and make it even better with firmware updates? I like the tweakability of it, as it's better than most, but not as mind boggling as my FM9. 🙂
do you think its worth it spending almost twice the amount of money for this version if you have the first one like me? these pedals are really amazing for the money maybe not the best solution for high end recording but works perfectly fine for home and stage use.

9 times out if 10 those built on IRs sound like shit so thank you for pushing the air with a real cab in your demo and not just loading your own IR up. The unit sounds pretty good especially for the price point
We live in such a great time for guitar players. Even these cheaper modeler are killing it. It Sounds good but for now i will stick with my ampero 2. But if you are on a budget this seems fine 👌🏼

I have FRFR's but I'd love to try it that way as well. As I also have a nice assortment of various cabinets. Could you assist?
Sonicakes pedals are virtually Mooer pedals. Some that Mooer still make others are discontinued Mooer pedals. I suspect this is likely a discontinued model getting a second life.

Huge disagree here. If you want to know what it sounds like in reference to anything else he’s done, it’s important to eliminate the variable of different cabs or IR’s. Yeah it would be good to have both, though. Direct recorded tones and one of his typical cabs.
