Great reaction guys!! I look at it as Vessel is offering his heart, Sleep offers an apple (Garden of Eden - forbidden fruit, sin, knowledge, temptation) In the video TMBTE, the statue is holding an apple and in The Offering, Vessel is heard saying "take a bite". His lyrics all interconnect somehow and it's fascinating how he does it!! 🫶🏻

I've said it on a previous video but you guys are my favorite reaction channel now for Sleep Token, and I've watched just about everyone. You both allow the music and the analysis to breathe in a way that you just can't accomplish with a 5 minute video. Kudos to you guys for making 20 minute videos out of these. The way I see it, having reactions like yours is the only way to do this band and this art justice beyond just a snippet or a sound bite. Keep up the awesome work, guys! It's gonna be a killer ride!

Also, the Bleach reference was WILD - because you're so right. And if you remember in Take Me Back To Eden, he says "I need you to see me for what I have become." He exchanged his heart for forbidden knowledge in this song, and the knowledge made him a monster, but it felt like his only choice (it'll make more sense as you go). along).

Yessss......Vessel is a damn genius. His voice to me reminded me of the lead singer of Breaking Benjamin, but Vessel's range is more than the other guys. And I am completely enthralled with his voice. And the guitars just sound pissed off....like Vessel is getting his tortured feelings out during the breakdowns. Little man hit on a good point about Vessel and his interpretation of rhythm and the different beats they use in their music. Love seeing the wheels turning when you're listening, the way we can see the appreciation for the music you're listening to. It's dope! So glad you're doing the whole discography. I suggest you always have the lyrics pulled up because the lyric videos are not always right. Some of them have the wrong lyrics in them. So its best to have the lyrics pulled up from Google. The lyrics are definitely a major component of so having them available is a must. So glad you're piecing things together. It's a whole trilogy and I'm excited for the journey!

This video could be seen as the birth of Vessel, offering his heart to sleep in return for the apple of eden. In Sleep Token's music, sometimes Vessel is singing for himself but sometimes it's sleep using Vessel's voice. In this video you can see Vessel offering sleep his hearts and Sleep offering Vessel an apple.

I take the apple as he took the bite of something that was forbidden but in turn sacrificed himself. In Take me Back to Eden, he screams at the end, TAKE ME BACK TO EDEN! He wants to go back to a time where he didn't sacrifice himself for whatever the temptation was

You've got such a long ST list 😅. But if you ever look into his live stuff, you NEED Hallelujah. The way his emotions spill out of him during that song is simply heart-wrenching. There's a part (I won't give it away) where it seems like the emotions are too much for him, and we get a nice little surprise during that. But it only enhances the entire experience.

So it begins! Up to interpretation here but sometimes the lyrics seem to be Sleep talking to Vessel, for instance the turn the lights down come on and find out. Sleep talking to him for the first time, telling him to turn the lights out and go to sleep so they can meet. Great discussion as usual.
