Being American and knowing how difficult our anthem is, I would LOVE Dimash's take on it! I bet it would be incredible.. but then, he could sing a phonebook and make it sound incredible! LOL
I think Lady Gaga did one of the best versions at the Super bowl one year. She sang it straight and didn't muddle it up with stuff. Dimash would be great to hear but he may not have much passion for ours. Although he could for sure hit the notes and make the transitions well

I was excited for that song, I heard the heavy metal at the end of it during concert. And then I watch it in his channel and I can’t finish it, that song is not about vocals anymore it was about his cry and passion for humanity that he is conveying to his listeners. I watch it with through reaction because I feel I need to watch it with someone. Then I’ll come back to Dimash channel to show my support.
I really wanted the Kazakh boxer to win, for Dimash's sake. This was nice to hear, though, because the only version I had heard was recorded on someone's cell phone, and they (and the folks around them) were singing the Kazakh anthem along with Dimash, but they weren't very in tune, so I mostly heard it sung pretty off-key lol (not that I'm one to talk). Our Anthem doesn't sound like other countries at all, especially the Eastern European and Russian ones. I hear the passion they have in theirs but hear more elation and sentimentality in ours. Don't know since I don't understand what they are saying. All of them seem to have come from wars
Anthems usually have a military style. To have a softer more melodic national anthem is good !!
