Was watching the news and one of the media asked why did they not block the open sidewalk that lead to the person driving around the police cars? I also was asking in my mind the very same question…place police cars in the middle but leave a huge enough gap on either side that a truck/car can easily get around?? I’m sorry but their security was lousy … they left themselves wide open. Well anyway in the news briefing…seconds after the media asks that question… the chief got on the defensive and evaded the question with double talk…but the question remains: Who did the security check and why were the huge gaps on both sides of the police cars not closed off?? The reason I bring this up is it seems like the latest thing to do to hurt a large crowd by driving into crowds with a car or truck… so the latest form of protection is concrete blocks to stop anyone from entering. But to also close off the sidewalk and have armed police presence. GOD BLESS US EVERYONE.
