    Only level A protection, for such an expensive jacket. There's £150 jackets available with the higher AA rating.

    Absolutely shocking that at this price this is only Level A certified...

      what's even more shocking is that the price on SBS has gone up by £150 in less than a year.

    people who pay this sort of money they want you to honor the warranty after 5 times use of the jacket 🤐🤐🤐

    I really do love this jacket and really want one. My only criticism is it needs to have mesh on either sides of the zip so the storm flaps can be opened up and used as another vent. Like on the Richa Armada or Stadler Treasure Pro

    Torn between this and the Kingsley. Can you please compare them?

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  2 года назад +4

      No problem. In short, the Kingsley is a bit more robust, has extra venting and a higher CE rating. In more detail, the Kingsley uses stretch Cordura for the main shell, has chest vents in addition to the locations on the Nivala 2.0, there are fit adjusters at the upper arms and the CE rating is one grade higher (Kingsley = AA, Nivala 2.0 = A). The Kingsley is marginally heavier than the Nivala 2.0, but I would be surprised if you could tell in general use. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony

      You absolutely must try both on. I wanted to like the Kingsley for all the safety/venting/abrasion resistance features but it is a lot less comfortable

    I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Bought one, after one week had to bring back to shop because of leak in one of the elbows . They give me new one because was under 30days since day of purchase. 4 weeks after ? Leak from two elbows. I cannot afford another one and now they want to take it away for two weeks because they have to send it to rukka

      So repair took two months and the gear leak again. Absolutely shit

    How would you compare this to the Revit Dominator 3 GTX jacket and pants?
    I prefer the Revit look, but I am more concerned about the quality and reliability long term?
    Thank you

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  2 года назад +1

      This is a little simpler than the Rev'it Dominator and has extra armour and the thermal liner, which you don't get with the Rev'it jacket. I've spoken to our returns team and they suggest the quality of the Rev'it Gore-Tex items is good and you shouldn't have any reliability concerns. Thanks for getting in touch and I hope that helps. Cheers, Tony

      @@sportsbikeshop thank you so much for your reply. After watching and reading loads of reviews etc, now I am most likely going to get the Rukka. People tend to love this brand and rarely complain about the long term reliability.
      Have a great day 😊

    What are the main differences in Nivala to Nivala 2 trousers?

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  Год назад

      There appears to be very little difference at all between the two models of trousers. The Nivala 2 are CE marked at single A in EN 17092, while the older trousers were not rated under EN 17092. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony

    The boy is talking very nice, but the six-year guarantee is very good, but I have taken mine to be repaired and they told me that I have to wait six weeks, the guarantee is very bad because waiting 6 weeks for your jacket to be repaired or they give you an answer it's bad the guarantee doesn't stop me good solution

      You're correct that sometimes it takes an extended period to have an item inspected and repaired by the importer. In those instances, we have garments available that we are able to loan our customers while they are waiting. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony

    Is this Nivala 2.0 also known as the RAPTO-R on Rukka's latest (international) 2023 catalogue?

    • @sportsbikeshop
      @sportsbikeshop  Год назад +1

      Sorry, we just deal with the UK catalogue. Perhaps Rukka or TranAm, their UK importer, could help with that. Cheers, Tony

      Yep. It’s the Rapto-R. No idea why they use different names for the UK market, it’s very confusing for potential customers.
