@Klim give us a removable storm collar. Nothing worse than rain dripping from the rear of your helmet down your neck and driving rain from the front going down your chest. It also keeps the cold out for us all year riders. I don’t like the boxy cut, it would help if it had adjustment straps on the waist. I like the lower exhaust vents which I’m guessing you can close without taking the jacket off? Would be handy to stick cruise control on and close them while riding rather than having to stop or just risk getting a bit wet which is what currently happens to me.
Just been to check those exhaust vents and I think closing them while wearing the jacket while riding might be tricky, as you need to stop the jacket riding up as you pull on the zip. Maybe sitting on the base of the jacket will give the resistance to let the zip close. Cheers, Tony
Hi, That’s a great review that really answered a lot of my questions. I know it’s couple of years since you looked at the jacket but can I ask if the sleeves have a normal opening or if they have a storm arrangement with an inner sleeve dropping down? I ride for work a lot and have got used to that on my old jacket and really miss it - old wrists don’t like cold draughts in the winter.. 😅 Thanks in advance…
Hi, I've just checked the current jacket and there's no inner cuff. It has a Velcro wrap and a two-way vertical zip, which means you can use that as an inlet vent. Sorry for the delay in replying - I had to get to a jacket to look. Thanks for the kind comment on the review. Cheers, Tony
Can I ask your height and weight since you said you could take a small? I'm between sizes, on paper the small looks too small but may work? Thanks for the vid, very helpful!
Hi, yes - I'm 5ft 10in and weigh 12 stone. In general, I find people can come down a size from their usual when wearing Klim. I hope this helps. Cheers, Tony
Great precise review thks. Is there any space for chest protection? - I'm guessing not as u didn't mention it but I do like this jacket so worth me asking. cheers.
I've just checked and there's no provision for chest armour. Best option for that is an undershirt in my opinion, though it does add expense and render the rest of the jacket's armour redundant as you'd have shoulder, elbow and back armour in the shirt. Klim's Tek Pak rucksack comes with chest armour in the harness, so that's an option. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony
We don't routinely weigh jackets like we do with helmets, but if you let me know your size I will see if I can source a weight for it. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony
Nice review. I like that you guys get all the detail and are concise
Thanks your sizing information!
Great video as normal

Thats disappointing, I will have to get pockets for chest armour stitched in after purchase.
Wow it has gone up to £700😮
