    This is the G5000. The difference between the G5000 and the SE5000 is the SE has LM301B Samsung diodes and the G has Bridgelux.

      I have a se7000 in a tent next to the G8600. And a room with an se5000 and the g5000 the plants underneath the cheaper diodes always perform better for some reason

    I want one!!! Lol I have a spider farm 480 watts and that thing rules in my 4x4 tent!!! The buds are so dense, frosty and the quantity it puts out is insane!!! I've been running that light for a couple years no problems!!! With that said probably be a while before I spring for another light!!! I'm sold on spider farm. They are a solid company with very good lights for reasonable mid priced light

      Ive run 720 watts before in my 4x4 and had problems with heat so the last run I just ran the 480 watt in 4x4 and the 120 watts in my 2x2

      Yep just make sure you have enough ventilation to run 300-400 watts in there and you're good to go. Run it dimmed to what you can handle as long as it's in flowering levels you're good. Of course more light can be more bud but not if you overheat everything and ends up all stressed out and foxtailed.

    Have you gotten your hands on the g4500 yet can't wait until you review it I been almost 4 years with Mars 2 sp300s and 2 fc e3000s and now that I'm having a issue with one of the fc e3000s there being difficult about the warranty so I was thinking about the g4500 for one of my 2x4s keep up the great videos beo

    • @Justintime2grow
      @Justintime2grow  Год назад

      Yeah warranty work with the "cheaper" brands is kinda rough. Its basically a 90 day to 1 year warranty for most companies even if they say 3 years because past year 1 they make you pay for a bunch of shit lol. I'm actually about to review Mars's new 2x4 light soon. 😂😂

    Man! For this light to have bridgelux’s in it look how much par it’s putting out at 20”. On website they show par map lower heights but Justin has higher numbers than they got. And another plus the driver isn’t being pushed hard neither. I guess it be how long the bridges last compared to Samsung’s led’s. Justin have you ever had problems with bridges before? Or do u like them better than Samsung?

    • @Justintime2grow
      @Justintime2grow  Год назад +3

      They have been around for over a decade in the budget led space that I know of personally. They have improved a lot but Samsung is still considered the top dog in diodes.
      The thing that companies are doing with the bridgelux that makes them "shine" is they're using more diodes because it's cheaper per diode. Because of that they can run at a lower level to achieve the same PAR numbers as well which increases their efficiency and longevity.
      The funny thing I find with their PAR map on the website is that it says it was tested in a 5x5 tent but the map itself only shows 4x4. I believe those numbers are for a 4x4. Which is about what I figured it would do in a 4x4. That's why I tested in a 3x3.

    Is the se 5000 with the Samsung diodes worth the extra £100?

    • @Justintime2grow
      @Justintime2grow  Год назад +2

      If you have the extra 100, sure better parts are always better to get in my opinion if you can do it. If that 100 is going to make it so you can't live right this month then probably not because as you can see this light has great output.

    • @joegrows4209

      @@Justintime2grow appreciate the reply bro , the extra 100 doesn't matter tbh , I'm impressed by the output of this light and think it will suit my purpose. Thanks for the in depth video aswell 🙌

      @auston911 7 месяцев назад

      The thumb screws? If so they are to mount the driver. But the driver can be mounted outside tent and maybe dont need them. If you use them on the driver the original mounts are great for mounting when the driver is outside the tent

      I don’t really review that company anymore because the first light they sent me they grossly lied about the coverage and they’re also well known as a pretty overall shit brand. I would advise looking for something else. I have reviewed plenty of lights better than anything they offer.

    who grows 2 to 3 foot plants lights that low there is no room for a plant you will be burning the plant

    • @Justintime2grow
      @Justintime2grow  Год назад +4

      A lot of people grow 2-3' plants because they actually know what topping and training is. Apparently you do not. Not to mention how many people are growing in a 2x4 tent that's only 5" tall. You don't have a choice but to grow 2-3' plants. It's not like it's hard to do and still get good yields if you're experienced.
      As far as lights being hung low WELCOME TO LED. You obviously are a HPS grower or you're using LED wrong. 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂

    • @Justintime2grow
      @Justintime2grow  Год назад +5

      I find it funny that you think 25" off the canopy is so low you had to comment about it when the rest of us just know that's actually kinda high for LED. 😂😂
