Great reaction. What you said at the end reminds of many years ago, I heard the great George Benson say he doesn't want people attending concerts to sit there and watch him play. Instead, he wants to play so well that they stop watching him, and start dancing with each other.

I've saw BAND-MAID twice that`s what it's like at one of their shows High energy , lots of audience participation , along with Amazing musicianship and just all around fun .

Whew, this song goes 1000mph. I love the sound and everyone executes it perfectly! I started to really pay attention to the English translated lyrics and they are just too brutal. I turn the captions off so I can actually enjoy the song more. The best hard rock band out there.

Band-Maid's song "Hate?" is about the volcanic anger that one has when they discover that they have been betrayed by someone who broke their marital vows and was cheating on them. Lead singer Saiki, who wrote most of the song, spits fire and brimstone at the adulterer and makes it clear that she hates this individual with every fiber of her being. She wants this person to be totally erased from existence and have the memory of him cleansed totally from her mind. Akane's expert hard driving drums frames the song's structure perfectly and Miku Kobato's rhythm guitar is totally on point while she also performs the backing vocals. The amazing duet between Kanami's lightening quick PRS guitar and Misa's thundering Bass is a highpoint of the song and showcases the tremendous talent of this band. "Hate?" is a high intensity song meant to be played on the big stage before a large audience which Band-Maid has accomplished with perfection.
In other words, don't piss Saiki off!
How do you write a song that intense unless you went through that personal experience? Also, it's written from a woman's point of view. I think if a guy experienced the same scenario, he wouldn't be so vitriolic.
@@breakpack Saiki's very close married friend went through such a horrible experience during the Covid lockdown period and that enraged Saiki enough to write "Hate?". My own feelings of anger after my then wife's betrayal in an adulterous affair makes the lyrics highly relatable to me. While I never harmed my ex, lots of men have committed violence or worse upon their cheating spouses, which is just wrong. Highly emotionally charged events happen all the time in relationships gone sour, and intense anger is often a response to an unacceptable situation for both men and women. "Hate?" is a powerful song about the feelings of extreme anger that can often arise when a person is deeply hurt emotionally.
@@uffdad8211 For better or worse, that's why I remain single. I don't want to be betrayed. That is probably the worst thing you can feel barring any horrible physical accident you could have. It's tough for me to hear the song reading the English lyrics.

I remarried to the most wonderful and kindhearted woman that I could imagine, and we lived happily and in love until the day that she died in my arms from cancer. I would not trade a second of time being with her for anything in the world. Such is the power of real love.
