I wish I had known back in the RCMonster Forum days and I would've sent you my chassis drawing. I threw away a lot of aluminum sheets. Another great video, thank you John and crew.
Y'all have some shipping warehouses built into caves there in Missouri too. It's a pretty cool experience driving a 70' long 13'6 tall truck into a cave to unload/reload, I love it going to those.
Used to set up,repair, and run production on several different types of machines years ago.screw machines made by davenport and acme gridly, ranging from 1/4 inch to 8 inch, and theyvwere 5 and 6 spindle.also ran some really cool rotory transfer machines called hydromats.they had 12 and 16 stations in horizontal and vertical.kept a part from every job i ever set up and ran.
They had a big sale on the servos to clear up the inventory a while ago so I suspect they will be coming out with new servos, but when, that is the good question.
Only a waste if it never gets used! The 3 phase that I already had installed was 3x the cost of the machine, so more of a waste to not have the machine imo! I'll get back on it this year.
Myself being a cnc machinist - Machine operator for almost 30 years, I understand and can appreciate your machining story….

Screw machines are amazing. I also kept a few of each that I ran for nostalgia
will you guys be releasing new servos?
Yes, once we are satisfied with them
@@HolmesHobbieswhat if we are already satisfied with them though? ??
@@HolmesHobbies You had the best servos ever made already. What were you not satisfied with?
Ģerat story and truck looks awesome ❤
The Dave Grohl of rc!
The futaba RCE10221F servo horn works awesome for the vrd, it has a third hole and allows for proper steering angles without binding.
Will servo's return to Holmes Hobbies? Also enjoy the crawl at TGH!
Yes, in time
So does that mean there will be a open box special on a servo 🤔🤔🤔
The steering dual rate on my AT3 transmitters confused me a few times.
Will you get this truck done and drive it already. Lol
Are you not producing servos anymore?
When I look there is only 3 on site

I have an upcoming video that talks about this, stay tuned
Thats how babies are made 👉 👌

the boats going down I don't think the bolts would hold it down when capsizing
The shear strength on each bolt was 10klb and there is 8 or 10 holding the casting down. At least the crew would have a chance of exit!
A machine not being used sounds like a waste. But handy if you need it, I suppose.

I think your battery is too small😂!
