As an FYI, if you have the later EdgeTX firmware, you will have a box at the end of each line in Special Functions. That is the enable/disable checkbox for each Special Function line. Make sure to check this box to hear the sound (or enable whatever Special Function you have set up). You can also, of course go back and uncheck the box to disable the Special Function, if desired.

And I will admit, that I'm new to EdgeTX and thanks for your elitist attitude towards me sharing what I've discovered. I'm here to learn and this is why I watched this video. bill i want to set the 3 pos switch to change gears on a transmission. 1st 2nd and 3rd. i understand on how to assign switch but how do i adjust the servo throw for each gear. im thinking go to outputs and adjust weight for each position or is there an easiewr way. also will more expo on lets say the thriottle channel apply power at a lower rate as i pull the trigger ?
Firstly would suggest not using expo on the throttle. You can adjust the weight but this will affect the position either side of center. You could then add in offset to correct any difference’s either side of center.
bill i set up the mixes like you told me in outputs ch3 for the 3 sp transmission and ch4 for the 5th wheel. do i have to do anything on the inputs page because i cant get them to work when i run them thru the gt power unit. its getting awfully aggravating. please help all im asking is setinng up the mixes enough or do i have set anything up in the input page
Hi Michael, no you just leave the Outputs as they are. Could you please send me a scanned copy of the models instruction manual to triplemadventures@gmail.com without this I would be guessing the set up you need. You may need to change the weights from + to -
bill, i assigned my t4 trim switch as a two position switch. i go to the monitor and the ch i assigned it to shows that it is working but i also get a trim beep and the trim still moves. is there a way to disable the trim and trim beep sound?

Hi, please go to MIXES and click enter on channel 5 and select the source and activate the switch you want to use. Remember with Express LRS Channel 5 is only used for arming your motor.
I'm also trying to use channel 5 for my lights, they work when I turn on the car, but I can't get them to turn on and off, when you say channel 5 is only used for arming your motor, what does that mean, and can I use channel 5 to turn my light on and off with FL1 or FL2? Or do I need to use a different channel? I'm not the best with this stuff 😂
Any idears? The sound on mine worked for 10 minutes now nothing, just haptic, I've checked all the settings, sound is set to all and the volume is up, could I have pressed something else maybe? I've been into rc all my life and half know what I'm doing but can't figure this one Out! Its driving me nuts, I'm at the point of taking it apart or sending back. Any thoughts much appreciated.
Does your radio audible say welcome to EdgeTX when you power it up? If not it could be a hardware problem. It’s possible a wire has come off but only strip the radio if you are comfortable doing so.

@bugman72 I use a Tx16s so I don't have check boxes for using a track using 2.9.4 firmware

Is it possible to bind multiple elrs RX like 2x ER5C in one MT12 to have additional channels? If yes, can you share how?
Not that I am aware of but you can buy other PWM receivers with more channels but they are larger.

Channel 5 is not full resolution but should turn lights on. You can assign any switch you wish just select the switch in the mix.

Have you set up Global Function volume to a switch or a rotary switch and activated it? Under Radio Setup have the volumes been lowered?
Yes, tried that and still no sound, is there anyway to test the speaker do you know?
If everything is set up correctly it can only be a hardware problem. Have you tried a different sound ?
