I get it. I started rc crawling. Then I started watching people on RUclips crawl. Now I watch RUclipsrs talking about rc crawling . It’s all the same as what my kids do with the gamers.
Ha love it. Jack of all trades. It is the amazing how the amount of outside knowledge seems to always come full circle to be applied to a totally different application.
Printed inserts are awesome. I actually run a set on the back of my kyosho outlaw rampage. On 3s I still get a little expansion but nowhere near as much. And when I slide the truck the tire won't roll under the wheel. So far they are holding up to the wheel speed.
Talk about motors, magnets magnetics all day. I love hearing about this stuff. I liked Bob(Astro Flight). We've had conversations about him. Obviously, you talked to him in greater detail than I ever did. Bob and I probably had 3 conversation on the phone lasting 7 to 12 minutes....maybe 15 if i was to guess. At one time, I had 2, 3 or more Pullmaster motors of 2s , 3s and 4s. Only ones I kept were a prototype 1 and two 2s. I'm keeping those. I wish I had you and Bob's complete understanding of motors. I try to soak-up what you say but you usually leave me at the end. Hahaha
I have a abnormal distain for putting water and electricity together. I never get any of NY RC's close to water. Maybe silky, but I just can't find it in me to get my RC's wet.
The only rules that should exist in racing is safety rules. All aspect of safety and after all of it is covered, those manufacturers that are in racing should be allowed to technologically advance. Rules in technology only hurts the entire industry. In R/C Racing for example, a lot of people will complain about stock class and/or blinky mode since their motors might get too hot. I remember when ROAR didn't have anything for 4 pole motors and someone in a forum who claimed to be a ROAR rep said 4 pole motors were allowed. Now you might see 4 pole motors on the allowed list. What about using thinner lamination on the stator. I left the hobby in around 2010 and all I see are a few innovations. I loved the run what you brung (
I vent mine in 2 places, on the inside sidewall, close to the bottom as possible. So it can still vent with the 3d inserts. I rolled one of my trucks down a small cliff and the wheel pinched another vent hole on the outside of the tire sidewall lol
Ive been wantimg to build a truck to run a nema 17 stepper motor. My electronics knowledge is minimal. Would you be able to point me towards some sort of resource on adapting these controller systems to jive with rc signals/ receivers? The only background i have in them is dealing with 3d printers, small factor stepper drivers running off those printer boards, and building simple PWM circuits.
It’s gonna be fun 😅😅😅 The venting technique venues are debated by some. I just use a small leather stitch punch and do it exactly the same way and it is good. Great advice right there young man. Thanks again. How long you expect the Crawlmaster sport should hold good power? It’s really still strong after two years. Have two that run often. 👍 wondering if it’s possible I missed any decrease? Or should I just buy a couple more? Amp em up and gear em down 👍
Mmmmmmm Chili! Gotta vent! - Thoughts on vented rims/wheels vs venting the tires? (sorry if it's in the video, still watching) - But so far, I have vented a few of my crawlers and have done 2 on opposing sides.
Getting old. Shows me where the past had..... Cassettes, cds video rental stores.. music magazines .. dvds... And thats where some things should have stopped.... Streaming has taken jobs from many... Businesses as well.. some small. Some big.. but gone.. physical media will eventually not exist... Except for what you personally own... At least irc cars, buggies, trucks etc they can't be replaced.... .

I had that fact pointed out to me by my dtr, who I hoorah for watching vids of girls playing with dolls, to which I replied “IT’S HOBBY GRADE!”
I came to that same realization. Making fun of my son watching gamers play games. As I sat and watched crawling competitions. 🤣🤣🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Original quote = Jack of all trades is master of none, but often times better than a master of ONE....
It’s nice to be able to have transferable skills that create multiple benefits.
Beans, beans, they’re good for your heart...
I remember watching the original hamster dance on dial up AOL!
you've got mail
Hey John get yourself some bubble juice for mounting wheels. Makes things a little easier

I thought the missile warhead program was top secret 🤫 It’s cool knowing the connection to the RC world

In summary, it’s better to be a master angler than a master baiter.
that is still up for debait

If I use a 3d insert I'll do 3 or 4 because I'm worried that air may not get out of the flat insert is pressed against the hole
Try Ghost Energy drinks. Cherry limeade and sour green apple are pretty good and sugar free
...Venting Tires..... What duh he🏒🏒 is that...!?? 😆👌
I get it yes sir
im 36 and im already like Get off my lawn!
2 holes every tire. Crawler Innovation explains why water doesn't hurt.
I vented my wheels instead of my tires. I have a drill, but don't have a leather punch😉
Some bubble juice helps assemble beadlocks, little bit of lube lol
I do 4 of the smallest punch
I vent the rim...
If it might see watta, ill do tire, as a good spin will centrifuge it out
Someone should design a breather vent of sort to let air in/out but keeps water out, perhaps it exists already

I wanted to see you bounce that rear tire.
It’s not giving up, it’s that you have more shit to inventory. And that’s good.
Who won the item from catalog?
giveaway takes place one we hit 50K subs, soooo close!
🤐
hey John ...pants...
Glad I'm not the only one that noticed :D
I might have gained 10 or 20 since I bought em...
what's the point of having beadlocks if you're going to vent the tires
So the tires doesn't slips under load
Beadlocks in rc have nothing to do with air.
Weird. My 3d printed inserts aren’t bouncy.
Stay off track, please
can do

Trying to find hard copies of new music is almost impossible. I at least want a good mp3 or wav!
