- Cleaning and Maintaning DSLR & Video Camera for Relaxation Purposes, watch and listen to me as i explaing and show you what i do to maintain my DSLR & Video Camera for regular maintence.
I feel it is important to maintain the appereance of your equipment to prevent dust getting into your equipment, to also prevent corrosion & to keep the vaule of your equipment high for resale vaule.
Here on the Gold Coast living right next to the beach corrosion is a big problem.

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Watching Someone Focus on a task
Personal Attention - like a hair cut
Any type of Role Play the best ones are ones that involve personal attention to you, examinations, face brushing ect
Watching someone draw or paint
Sounds : Crinkle, Tapping, Scratching & multi layering of different sounds together
Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.

This is my first comment on youtube. I comment this video, because I wanna thank Dimitri so much for it. For me, it's the most relaxing video ever. I listen to it on work or in bed over and over again. There is no video on youtube, that I have watched more or like more.
Your anecdote on the line of corrosion inside of computers was great, I know it sounds weird like that x) but listening to you telling those (truly) interesting stories is so compelling and, of course, relaxing

You mention wanting to spray the camera with a bit of lannolin to keep the corrosion to the minimum. For screws and other small exposed non-electrical surfaces, clear nail polish works excellently. Obviously won't work for the hot shoe, but the body screws will thank you for it. Also, when it comes time to sell the camera, removing the screw and cleaning with a bit of polish remover will have it pristine in no time.

I actually get ASMR from the clicking and beeping and snapping of pictures from cameras, like at 34:50
He used his small Point and Shoot camera with a wide angle lense for shooting the video.
