This was very useful👍 The way I was being saved was a bit unusual - through an ayahuasca ceremony. Jesus came to free me from the bondage of sins that were keeping me under the torture of the devil. I had no idea that there was such a thing as repentance and a necessity for it until Jesus saved me. He gifted me a new heart, I was soulless before. God is merciful yet just. What a gift to know that I have a Father God who cares about His children deeply, and that God is not a personless substance that we can be admitted to if we are "high-vibe". Thank you Jesus for being the Way, the Truth and the Life 😌🕊️
I've never been a fan of that word religion...it's cold and impersonal. Once you accept Christ as your personal savior you enter into an intimate relationship with Him. And as you grow in your faith throughout your life you see just how many ways He has guided you and even if He takes things away it's always for your safety. I can't imagine my life without Him. He is my God, my Savior and my best friend.
Ben Shapiro isn't Christian, just because hes a rabbinical jew doesn't mean hes the authority on our Faith. Lots of conservatives do not understand this unfortunately.
Being a Christian It's not something that's done by muscle memory or repeated physical actions or movements. It is from the inner body mind and soul that we are called to change. If we leave it to our exterior we leave it all in the hands of sin and circumstance. Romans 5 teaches that though “sin entered the world through one man, death spread to all men because all sinned” (Rom. 5:12)
Hey Todd! Have you ever considered inviting Ben on the show to talk about these things together? He was willing to talk to Kirk Cameron and John MacArthur so I wonder if he’d be interested in speaking with you
I'll admit, I'm a huge Ben Shapiro fan. I disagree with about 25% of his political views but I deeply respect his consistency in standards , especially in the behavior expectations from politicians, civil servants and journalists. He's not going to spin something to support Trump because he's a republican nor is he doing to spin a position that Biden takes and oppose it because he's a Democrat. That tells me he's a man of character. I'd like to think that he does it because he knows he's going to account to God for his actions some day. I also enjoy listening to him when he has religious conversations, this one in particular I watched and enjoyed, but during these conversations I always keep in mind that he's an Orthodox Jew and as such he is only accepting half of the message. I found his comment about Jews and Christians approaching God from two different directions humorous and feel that it shows how ignorant of the Christian faith he really is. I don't follow Christ because I had some form of religious experience, I follow Christ because I saw myself through his eyes and to borrow Todd's verbage, saw how Wretched I truly am and what he did to make me whole before God. He showed me that he loves me, in return I do as he says because I love him too. It's not always easy, either. I've witnessed him have some deep, theological conversations with some well respected Christians, it simply demonstrates that not all of it has sunk in yet
I'm not familiar enough with Jewish beliefs to know if his views is the norm or not within the faith, but I did listen to Dr. Laura quite a bit on the radio as well as read several of her books and she was also quite open about her Jewish faith, I don't see a whole lot of difference in what either of them say regarding their faith. I do know that both of them have been exposed to followers of Christ and both of them have been witnessed too and if someone like John MacArthur didn't sway him to become a follower of Christ, especially when he used the Old Testament as a tool to explain Christ's divinity, then it's safe to say that some Jewish Orthodox beliefs are not going to match up with traditional Christian views. And if that's the case, it's a job that only the Holy Spirit can overcome on his own time and convince. We know that the Holy Spirit is able because plenty of Muslims are converting to Christianity after having Jesus approach them at night while in a dream
@@username00009 Orthodox Judaism isn't any more of a monolith than traditional Christianity or Islam is. They all have denominations and different sets of beliefs because they all understand their religion-specific texts in different ways. Acts highlights this difference where it mentions an argument erupting between the Pharisees and Sadducees when Paul spoke of the resurrection of the dead.

Absolutely based comment for this video . We need more Christian’s who aren’t so quick too support so called “Judeo-Christian” values . Jews do not share the same values as Christ
I think there are several letters in scripture that talk about taking religious teaching from Jews. Note that I'm not talking about converted Jews like Paul.
5:48 Have read few days ago piece of „Jewish New Testament” of David H. Stern, where he overthrows Ben’s „Judaism is about doing first, christianity is about experiencing first” speaking.
I enjoy listening to both Russell and Ben. My least favorite topic by either of them is religion. Because of just what you said Todd they don't have the mind of Christ and are mostly wrong about everything on that topic.
3:05 It was also used with the Abrahamic covenant. The circumcisions' of all males in a Jewish household, not just with slaves. It could also be seen with Samson who grew his hair out as part of a Nazirite vow. It's all over the old testament.
Ben could perhaps tell us about the Talmud (Traditions of men), however He doesn't under stand that all of scripture is about Jesus - not the house of Israel and Judah. If you don't know how a passage points to Jesus then you aren't ready to teach on it. Galatians 3:28
Both are predicating it on their own effort to do good and to avoid wickedness and change the world for the better. Both don't realize that Isaiah 64:6 already addresses our own works and efforts.
Can you do a video about people who have physically died meaning their bodies were not functioning at all but doctors were able to get their heart beating again and breathing again and they come out to talk about what they saw Heaven or Hell, I am aware from your videos about those like the prosperity preachers say because that’s a different situation due to the fact they weren’t physically dead meaning that their hearts didn’t stop beating for any amount of time
I would also be interested in a video like this. Some of my family have been reading a book about those who have supposedly seen heaven, and I am uneasy when they talk about it. What they tell me from the book seems in opposition to those in the Bible who really did visit heaven like Paul and John. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
NDEs have actually been simulated in the gforce machine that astronauts use to train for the Gs they shall experience on their trip. The light at the end of the tunnel is actually the light going in your eyes. As for the voice, that is either your own thought or it can actually be an evil spirit. As for being "dead", our bodies are not completely dead when doctors pronounce it. It takes some time after that before our body is fully dead.
@@mr.beluga3996 They were in a state of dreaming at the point of losing consciousness. As long as it is able to, the brain records those visions into memory, then it turns off, and the person is left with this memory until reanimated. I think, in context, Ben's point about the Bible transforming societal norms was fair, and actually a good defense against the common atheist argument: "your book supports slavery". Just because societal change isn't the primary purpose of scripture doesn't mean God didn't bear it in mind.
I'd go a step further, and not just the mind of Christ, but to have that you first need another thing and that's the third person of the Trinity, the Helper, the Teacher, God the Holy Spirit! So their minds are still blinded by Satan's cosmic system. But furthermore, they don't have the requiste training to truly understand the Scripture in context, and even with the right information they would miss it because of the veil over their eyes that Paul wrote about in Romans. Good video!
Love this video. I used to listen to Ben Shapiro's show all the time but after I watched this video with Russel Brand, I completely stopped watching him because he showed me that he is of a completely different mindset than I as a Christian. He may be good at interpreting the political environment, but he proved to me that he is just another religious zealot who thinks that his religion is correct and all others are not. Watching those two was like the making of a good joke ... "did you hear the one about the time a pharisee had lunch with a saducee ...?" Just my thoughts.
As someone at war with all of this, what does “the mind of Christ” mean? Either that which is in my heart matters, or it doesn’t. If religion hopes to _change_ what’s in my heart, then whatever was there doesn’t seem to matter. I was there. As soon as that changes, it is no longer my heart, or my life. I have no point, no purpose, and certainly no love for a usurper. Why should I? It doesn’t matter - I’m not there anymore. Give the heart to someone else that might make better use of it. I don’t want it anymore if I’m not in it.
I've listened to Ben's program, and I heard him violate the 3rd commandment twice in a short period of time. I don't listen to him anymore, so I don't know if he's repented, but a Jew (or Christian) breaking the 3rd commandment is a serious sin!
First video I've seen of this guy..some good points...I agree somewhat with Prager though..like the Batman begins quote. 'It's not who we are underneath, but what we do that defines us.'...the idea that it doesn't matter what we do in life, we're saved...that can lead to people doing what they want guilt free...also at one point it seemed like you insulted Ben...he made a joke and said he's always right and you said "he is a talk show host"..your talking in a show right now??..
Why would anyone listen to people like Ben or Russell who have no real knowledge of the Bible or what Christianity is about. Pray that these men will come to know the mind of Christ.
7:50, romans 3:10 is Paul quoting psalm, where David is talking about the godless. We can do good. The Bible says many times that we should seek God and do good. If we don't, we are the godless in psalm 14 and 53. Romans is often misunderstood by those cherry picking scripture.
It’s why I keep the Daily Wire folks and Dennis Prager at an arms length. I appreciate the good things they’re doing in the name of political conservatism; but Jews and Catholics should not be a source of theology or spiritual truth for Christians, so you have to keep perspective when you listen to them.
I would love to hear you guys debate. Ben Shapiro is a political genius, and it boggles my mind that someone SO smart, doesn’t know the savior of the world.
I trust in him morally and pray he will find Christ. He is a very intelligent and loving person. I certainly would trust in his values. We as Christians (I am a Catholic) shouldn't divide ourselves from nonbelievers but invite them into Jesus's home.
Ben's not quite right about Christianity, but he's closer than most. He does not quite grasp atonement and justification and is clearly confused about the pattern of Christian life. His hermoneutic is off base, because its a modern lefist Jewish version trying to make it possible to ignore or negate parts that he finds uncomfortable or off base.
Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

It's easy to lie to a supervisor, who directs your job - it's hard to lie to the father, who gives you life.
Thank you, my brother Todd! Excellent advice of discernment, having the filter for the mind of Christ on!
"What comes out of the mouth is found in the heart." That's the biggest red flag I've experienced watching Daily Wire content.
I agree with you. People stop at guys like these and this is where they get their theology from without reading the bible....
I wouldn't call it "theology" - "spirituality" might be a better choice of a word. A set of excuses for the lack of objective knowledge and for one's biased preference - would be my definition for it.
I left Ben a while ago. He was way too much for me. Thank you for this Todd!
I just learned of RB actually yesterday when he gave an excellent slam down on Bill Maher's show (posted on IG) toward the left where he called them out on COVID and how big pharma capitalized on it AND how they profited from it, but American tax dollars funded it.
But I digress. So yes for sure, I wouldn't turn to them ever, for anything *religious* Todd, only to you...JK 😆🥳 the LORD and HIS word is my first source of truth!
You, my friend, are 6th in line after RC, Johnny Mac, Ligonier Ministries, and my pastor!! ❤️

This was very useful👍
The way I was being saved was a bit unusual - through an ayahuasca ceremony.
Thank you Jesus for being the Way, the Truth and the Life 😌🕊️
Spot on again sir! God bless! 🙏♥️🙏
Who wants to work with this wretch!
Love you Todd😊
This content is great for confirming decisions I've already made. Thank you 😊
Both freely say they are not Christian, no way I would take any religious advice from them, BUT I will pray for them.
Listening to those two clowns is like getting biblical advice from Kenneth Copeland.
Ben Shapiro isn't Christian, just because hes a rabbinical jew doesn't mean hes the authority on our Faith. Lots of conservatives do not understand this unfortunately.
LOL! That final quoting of the Who Are You lyirics ...
Probably given he’s not a believer in Jesus
Thank you, great dissection. Informed
He was willing to talk to Kirk Cameron and John MacArthur so I wonder if he’d be interested in speaking with you
Ben is Jewish, and very well educated in that frame. That's the frame he speaks from.
We can't expect him to then speak from a Christian standpoint.
Well said! Great video!
I don't. I don't think he believes in Jesus Christ.
What gave it away? The funny little hat?
Ben may claim to be an Orthodox Jew, but I have a hard time believing that the things he said align with Orthodox Judaism.
I’ve never liked these men or respected what they had to say. Just because they are “conservative” doesn’t mean they are right.
All the circumcised believers that were with Peter were amazed, that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out to the gentiles also. Hallelujah 🙌
I watch Ben every day, never once watching for spiritual enlightenment
we wouldn’t be where we are if it wasn’t for leaders like Shapiro. Complaining about the culture is just a waste of time. All he sows is seeds of bitterness and anger. He moves the needle left by making conservatives impotent virtue signalers
He is a Jewish lawyer and political pundit, not a Biblical scholar or theologian, and sadly he makes that age-old mistake of missing our Messiah!
Politics and religion. 2 great topics of conversation.
I'm glad they fixed the "WREPONSE" so I didn't have to be 'that guy' who pointed it out. Now I'm just the guy who commented about not pointing it out so there's that.
Uhmm, not especially. The word of God is all I need.
With regards to historical context, this is like Nicodemus goes to Athens and talks with Bhudia at the Areopagus .
Shapiro is Jewish, with a completely Jewish mindset. Ben trying to "rationalize" something he clearly doesn't understand will elude him.
Ben is a Jew. They don’t believe Jesus is the Messiah. A non Messianic Jew believes the same as him.
1:07 That laugh tho
5:48 Have read few days ago piece of „Jewish New Testament” of David H. Stern, where he overthrows Ben’s „Judaism is about doing first, christianity is about experiencing first” speaking.
I enjoy listening to both Russell and Ben. My least favorite topic by either of them is religion. Because of just what you said Todd they don't have the mind of Christ and are mostly wrong about everything on that topic.
Ben is so proud of his Jewish culture that it's blinding him from seeing Jesus.
Ive known for a long time these are both lost people and listening to them for intent to get genuine advice or pov is unwise, to put it tactfully.
They are both annoying to listen to. Just because someone speaks with confidence doesn't mean they are right.
ARROGANT MOCKING AND LAUGHING? IS HELL A LAUGHING MATTER TO YOU?
Both are predicating it on their own effort to do good and to avoid wickedness and change the world for the better.
Both don't realize that Isaiah 64:6 already addresses our own works and efforts.
So, SO good......!!
Justin Peters does a video or two on "heavenly/hell tourism. It doesnt happen. It is unbiblical. Demons do masquerade as light. That is biblical
Once "alive" they perceive the last "recorded" memory as immediate, since there's nothing in-between.
That was your best show open ever.
I think, in context, Ben's point about the Bible transforming societal norms was fair, and actually a good defense against the common atheist argument: "your book supports slavery". Just because societal change isn't the primary purpose of scripture doesn't mean God didn't bear it in mind.
Yet another reason why knowing the bible is your best defense. Put on your armor!
Circumcision is a pretty strong physical sign of a covenant
Ben sounds like Jerry Lewis. 😂
Tod, what says 1 chorintians 3,17 , meaning? Purgatory or onse saved always saved??????
I've listened to Ben's program, and I heard him violate the 3rd commandment twice in a short period of time. I don't listen to him anymore, so I don't know if he's repented, but a Jew (or Christian) breaking the 3rd commandment is a serious sin!
I would like to know what your thoughts are on Rabbi Jonathan Chan and Rabbi Jason Sobel?
First video I've seen of this guy..some good points...I agree somewhat with Prager though..like the Batman begins quote. 'It's not who we are underneath, but what we do that defines us.'...the idea that it doesn't matter what we do in life, we're saved...that can lead to people doing what they want guilt free...also at one point it seemed like you insulted Ben...he made a joke and said he's always right and you said "he is a talk show host"..your talking in a show right now??..
I would take advice from Shapiro if I wanted to become Jewish. But obviously he'll reject Jesus
in other words, you might be able to build some interesting structures without it but in the end you really need the corner stone.
Yes! Exhausting
Doesn’t Paul say something that the law isn’t of faith, but rather something like “he does the law, follows the law”?
It’s why I keep the Daily Wire folks and Dennis Prager at an arms length. I appreciate the good things they’re doing in the name of political conservatism; but Jews and Catholics should not be a source of theology or spiritual truth for Christians, so you have to keep perspective when you listen to them.
I would love to hear you guys debate. Ben Shapiro is a political genius, and it boggles my mind that someone SO smart, doesn’t know the savior of the world.
Don’t cast your pearls before swine, like Ben.
Short answer, no!
Romans 15:4
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
who who who , 😂😂 God bless u
