Worst thing I ever did was read Carrie's autobiography before I saw the band live. The band was great, how could they not be? But the way she throws herself all over the stage, it was terrifying thinking, "She's going to end up in traction." That likely says more about my own lack of fitness as we're the same age. Waxahatchee opened and were also astonishing.
Good God, they're good. We need more female bands like them (of course, I have to admit that for me, Carrie Brownstein in heels and black stockings is way sexier than Beyoncé or even Taylor Smith).
