Slowly catching up ...got into collecting vintage Joes a few years ago...lov finding bags of Joe's at Vv .. found 6 or 7 bags full of figure's a while back .. at 5.99 a bag CDN I was VERY HAPPY... lov documenting my wants and putting together the figure's / accessories.. WOW what a unreal toyline from long ago ..YO JOE !
I love how they called the HAVOC a fortress! The top gunner is completely exposed, and the driver is behind a huge sheet of glass😂 still loved it as a kid though
At the time i was too young to get the AWE striker or earlier vehicles, but because of my brother's cousins and friends, i remember all of this stuff! I did have the Havoc myself but I think we were all lucky to grow up with this stuff!
Yeah, l need to get his real rifle. The havoc front glass is why me and my friends laughed at it 😅. No protection. And neon missles?? Lol. But yeah in 2024 it is kinda cool

Loved the AWE Striker as a kid. It was my fast recon rig and took impossible jumps 😂... No doubt influenced by shows like The A-Team and Knight Rider. I didn't have the HAVOC. It took time for me to adjust to it's SCI-FI influence for sure, but I did think it was cool. Excellent video, Dave!

Fantastic video. Great vehicles. Crankcase is such a great figure with a great weapon. As a kid I neve really liked the HAVOC but big fan of it now.

In the comics Cross Country was one of the Joes killed during the Gulf War. I actually still have him and that vehicle.

I only have two vehicles in my modest GI Joe ARAH collection, one of them is the retro AWE Striker.
Yes, l want to buy that retro one so that l have a brand new one. It is great that its the exact 1985 mold.
