Just got a M4 and seems like they've hammered out some of the issues since this was reviewed a year ago. Left click is super solid and there's no creaking whatsoever. The cord is little stiff but sleeve didn't get scrunched up like shown in this video. I'd recommend getting the bungie if that bothers you. Bought a Glorious Model D- to compare and the XTRFY felt like it had an edge in quality
@@jamesw7224 I definitely prefer the xtrfy mouse. I'm currently using the M42 (the symmetrical version). I also tried the xtfy MZ1 for a while but went back to the M42. If you use a fingertip grip, it has a very satisfying feel to it. Would recommend giving it a try
Hey Canucks I just want to say thanks a lot for this video, I too play a very similar grip and for years I was using a cheap, heavy gaming mouse. I tried a G403 too and it hurt my wrist. For ages I searched for a mouse to fit me and found this one. After watching your review it made me purchase one, I've been using it all day today for the first time and I can already feel the improvement in my aim and ability. Thanks again, best decision for a mouse I have ever made!
to anyone that loved using the steel series rival you'll love this mouse even more, its basically an upgraded lightweight version w/ a slightly deeper groove for your thumb which i love. Just wish they had some software so i can use the side buttons for volume but its no big deal.
I have this mouse. I recommend it for palm grip and CS:GO players (especially forearm aimers). However, using this mouse for a game with a lot of quick counter-movements in it like Fortnite is just a downside because a game like that requires a lot of pressure on both sides (claw, fingertip, hybrid grip) and causes short term blisters when using it. For Fortnite, an ambidextrous mouse would be preferred. FaZe NiKo should try this mouse, I think he'd love it.
I have the blue one, and love the shape and feel - as well as the look. Would echo this video and 100% recommend it. Hardly any creaking on mine by the way.
I’m using a model o at the moment and wanted to change to a bit more comfortable mouse shape, thoughts? Mainly for those who have tried both and use a mixture of palm/ claw grip
I have been using this mouse for a little while now, the shape definitely takes some getting used to after my previous mouse, the Model O. I still think that the thumb groove is a bit too deep and makes the skinniest part of the mouse too skinny, but I have gotten more used to it over time. I have a G wolves skoll coming in the mail (long ship time from china on that one) so that should be an interesting comparison. I also have a reservation on the new Model D, and I also want to give the upcoming cooler master mm711 a try. So many options these days.
Just bought it. I thought it would be too small but it fits perfect. I don't like the speed change. I changed to slower and now I can't move back to faster.

Not sure what you decided. But I think the model D is a little better in shape and quality. This is a great option though. Amazon had the street edition for only $40 and it's a steal there
This is by far my favorite mouse so far ive used the air58, model o, g pro wireless, etc and this fits my style the best and for editing is comfortable too but ordering the g wolves skoll soon so well see what shape fits best
@bangbulil for me personally the M4 just fits better for my hand and play style however side buttons on skoll are more reachable and comfortable because they're in the middle

I prefer mice that have some weight to them. I don't like feeling like I'm using something that's barely there. I don't get the hype over ultralight mice. Does a few grams really matter that much?
I've never tried playing a game with something as low as a 500 DPI, looks like it would be exhausting constantly flailing your wrist around... What are the main benefits to that play style? More accuracy when aiming at enemies? Looks like it would be hard to learn, and would be like learning all over again.
