Phenomenal discussion and interview. It's so wonderful to see two women having such candid, genuine, and meaningful conversation while feeling free and comfortable enough to disagree on certain topics.
Yes i totally know that feeling of being cautiously optimistic bc i have PCOS and i was nervous i was going to loose the baby. But praise the Lord, my beautiful son was born at 41 weeks, 9lbs 2 ounces!
This was such a good episode! Not to put any pressure on Bridget, but have to say she is inspiring. Hoping for much peace and happiness for her and her family. ❤️
From one "geriatric" mom to another: congrats and blessings to you and your family, Bridget! Saying a prayer now for baby's health, and may God grant you wholeness and the extra energy us AMA mom's need! :D
Loved this conversation! I love it when individuals (regardless of their world views) can have open/amicable conversations. I'm so tired of echo chambers and the polarization of everything. Keep up the great work Allie!
Bridget, hearing your story of spiritual evolution is wonderful. God always has a plan. Jeremiah 29:11 I watch Dumpster Fire and related to your sense of humor so much, and this is a great side of you to hear about and I relate to you even more. Hearing this conversation was really a blessing to me. May you and your family be blessed! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Anither amazing interview and Great video. Fascinating to learn how this young woman, Ms Phetasy, grew and changed her beliefs and though processes in the cold light of truth. I have seen her other podcasts and she is hilarious and insightful.
Congratulations Brigette I wish you and your husband God’s most profound blessings. This has been a great conversation to listen to good people encourage me all the time. 🙏🏼✨♥️
Thank you for doing this interview. You're right a lot of people will br encouraged, and that includes me. Praying for Bridgette and her family that they get to hear the gospel.
I love this episode! I could listen to you and Bridget talk for hours 😊 Also, I appreciate (and admire) that you boldly and kindly weaved in your faith and the Bible into the conversation 💛
Praise the Lord for this new life for Bridget and her husband. I pray the Lord keeps this whole family in His fold and I pray for their salvation as well. What a testimony.
We would appreciate it deeply if anyone could pray for our dear family member Camala she is scheduled for breast cancer surgery in November the family is devastated she desperately need your prayers please pray for her praying for everyone everyday God bless you all
Praying for Camela for the surgery to be successful, for her doctors to be skilled and caring, and that healing and God's peace through Jesus comfort her throughout her treatment process, in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen🙏🙏🙏💞
What a refreshing interview. Very relatable. So many of us woman tell ourselves that promiscuity is sexual freedom and we wrap the pain of trauma in a false narrative of empowerment. And then Providence singles us out for a wake up call and all the values we scorned become our heart’s yearnings.
Really great interview, Allie. Thanks so much for not being afraid to talk to people you differ with. Bridget is very enjoyable, and I know she's got a great witness and support for Truth in your friendship.
Regarding unexpected pregnancies: Mary - "My soul exalts the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior." Bridget: "It's a frickin' miracle!". I just love that - ha! Bridget is starting from where she's at. And both women are sharing an astonishment at what God is doing in their lives. My prayer for Bridget is that she keeps seeking, and finds not just a "greater power", but a loving Creator and Father in heaven, through Christ our Savior.
I have a very similar story in my path to motherhood. I had my son at 42 19 years ago. But it feels like yesterday. I wish Bridget the very best and Congratulations on your pregnancy. It truly is a privilege to be a mother which she’s about to find out.
I will be praying for you and your husband and baby girl. This was a great interview with Bridget. God will continue to bless y'all. How amazing is His love for us. To find out read Ephesians 3:18 in the New Testament.
Wow. Ok I'm only 8.5 minutes in & I've never watched or listened to anything from Bridget but she is literally me. I absolutely went thru a phase where I thought I was ok w casual relationships. I thought I was different from most girls bc of it.
This was such an awesome interview! So encouraging & seeing all of Bridget's "coincidences" as her testimony & story unfolds. I became a believer during a very traumatic time & all the things that happened that kept me from disaster could only be attributed to God taking care of me. Anyway, I spent the morning packing a gift to send off to my 30yo son, while "accidentally" listening to a conversation between 2 of my favorite young women. ❤️
The thing which will bring the United States of America together is mutual respect, even in the face of disagreement, combined with a common moral thread. Without it, we will continue to unravel.
WOMEN!!!! Bridget is the best. Dumpster fire is one of the ways I deal with this crazy world. She DOES make burgers out of sacred cows. And I EAT them. Seriously so funny!
Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day praying for everyone everyday God bless you all
@@jesusisnotgod4265 For somebody who believes Jesus is not God… you seem somewhat preoccupied with Him. 🤷🏼♀️ Anyway, regardless of your beliefs, God bless you! I genuinely pray that you have a blessed life and an even more blessed afterlife. You’re so loved. 😇🕊♥️🙏🏻
I am going to be praying that God reveals Him self to her and continues to do what he has been doing; and that she comes back on your show with salvation story… this segment led me to want to pray for her and other women.
I feel like Allie is really excited at the thought of having “won one” over to the conservative side. Lol. As a former social conservative (though not an extreme one) turned very progressive liberal… I can now see I was closed minded. I HATED that term back then… I thought it was belittling and dismissive…. And it was in a sense. No one group has a monopoly on growth. So, the people who said that were likely closed-minded, too. BUT, the main difference for me is that back then I had a strong faith that I knew EVERYTHING. My salvation was caught up in that fact… that every truth was in the Bible and that if I questioned anything it meant my faith was weak. Now, as a progressive, my stance is the opposite. I know that I DO NOT know everything and therefore give people the space to live their lives and I focus exclusively on my own growth instead of imposing my spiritual views on others. Before, my faith was a mandate… a call to action to do just that. I think there is a lot of common ground… but I think we try to flower over serious conversations that SHOULD be had. How women are talked about in the Bible SHOULD be talked about in a critical way. The idea of a just, moral, loving God ok’ing the enslavement or even killing of anyone for any reason SHOULD raise an eyebrow. We need more safe spaces to have those conversations.
I love both of these women. Bridget, being an independent isn’t wishy washy, I am too. You aren’t wishy washy at all, you are one of the strongest women I’ve ever seen, and brave, during a time when most people didn’t have the guts to do so. You rose to a profound life challenge, when you didn’t have to, you will always know you were not a sheep. It is about principles, not politics. I never get attached to the party or the politician, the principles are what I rely on. When push comes to shove, you know you can and will take the hit. We don’t have to like It, and we are all afraid, but we do it anyway. What a perfect quality for a woman, to be a mother. This is the most important part of being a parent. This kind of inner, principled strength. You would have stood up to tyranny, during any century, I’m pretty sure. You are a very bright light in the world. I voted libertarian, twice. Both elections. I think I would change it, and vote for Trump the second time. But who knows. I didn’t know about all the lies, with the Russia thing, any of it. I was always very interested in current events, worked at GWU in DC during the whole 2016 election, but this has been nuts. Hey, don’t knock the people who were there when the lefties weren’t. Right wing isn’t a dirty phrase. They lied to us. They have been lovely. It’s okay to say it, they deserve it.
The goodness, kindness and love of God has no bounds. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.. She hasn't met him yet but he is right there in her life willing to bring his best into it. I pray for her. Christ is knocking at her door.
An NDE experience taught me Family is all that matters and money is not real….. but what do you do when you find yourself in a society that is run by money and you can’t even get by let alone have money to support your family ….. where both parents work full time …. I mean this is ridiculous….. people need to make some tough decisions and do the right thing by people
Ally, please have Brigette on again after they have the baby. I would love to hear how Jesus is going to bless this couple in the most amazing and beautiful ways and their beautiful daughter. ♥️🙏🏼✨🌺 The Lord is knitting your baby together in your room. Psalm 139:13
It’s simple….. we don’t really have a left in politics…. We have republican and republican lite……. So instead of social spending to help people …. They would much rather push people right…. But let’s keep spending almost a trillion a year on military…. While everyone can’t afford rent and healthcare…… sorry but the right has an opportunity to really actually help people…. I hope they do the Christian thing and actually try to help
Because of the degenerate sexual "liberation" culture that has been brainwashing many women - and men - in recent decades, I suspect people will need to extend some grace and forgiveness to those with a past they aren't proud of. Good on those who stayed on the straight and narrow, but better late than never for those who escaped the clutches of the world.
