Happens as well with the later model Fords that have auto high beam. From what we've witnessed, this only happens when light is reflected off street signs that the car perceives on oncoming traffic.
Thanks for the instructions. With the black earth lead, why it will only work when it attached to the earth chassis point as you indicated in the video? I initially attached it to another point in the chassis and lights didn't work. Then I moved it to the locations shown in this video at 1:08 and it worked. Any ideas?
With modern cars and more technology being present, they start to become very temperamental. I can reach out to the technical team and get you a proper diagnosis as to why if you would like?
Thanks for the video. I see you just added the plug and play cable to high beam. Is it legal to run additional lights without a switch to disable in Queensland or Australia in general? Cheers
Unfortunately, any forward-facing driving lights (LED or other) are required to be high beam triggered in Aus. Keep in mind they will operate in conjunction with the high beam if the switch is left in the off position.
Once again great advice 👍good work guys
Great video, I have noticed roof mounted light bars are potentially triggering the auto high beam function, how do I rectify this issue thanks.

Many thanks. Can you tell me what colour is the dash lights illumination to use on the Stedi switch in the cabin.
Dependent on the vehicle model the switch caters to but most will be blue or green backlit.
@@stedi_lighting thank you, but i was referring to the colour of the wire that is used for illumination
Most commonly will be the blue wire.
