Favorited. This is almost the exact design I had in mind with the stand and all. It's nice to see it in physical form. I love the use of drawer slides, I'm definitely going to do that!
Hello, thanks for the clear explanation on the video. As i understand, you have to have 2 CO2 tanks, 1 connected to the counter pressure bottle filler and one into the keg. Is this correct? And if my keg is pressurized at 12 psi, how much pressure should i set on the other CO2?
Yeah, that's how I've set up mine, but you don't need to. You can just get a T-fitting and some extra hose and disconnects and it'll work fine. I've found that setting it to 12 psi is too high. When I'm ready to bottle I set the pressure much lower now, like closer to 4 psi or so.
All of the adjustment comes from the drawer slides. I've designed it to handle up to 750ml tall flip top bottles too. The only thing it can't quite reach is the short stubby bottles like from Sierra Nevada or Red Stripe. But for those you just put a black of wood or something else underneath and then it can reach them.
Do I need two CO2 tanks, one for the counter pressure, and the other for the keg, or I can connect one CO2 tank both with the counter pressure and keg? Thanks!
hey, thanks for the vid. So, I just ordered a filler that looks identical to yours. The shaft that goes down into the bottle is bent (!!). Just slightly. Is that how it's supposed to be, so that it rests against the side of the bottle? It looks like yours is bent but i wanted to be sure. Thanks.
Hello, what pressure are you using to bottle? Is the weight of the filler enought to prevent the silicone stopper popping out? How do you clean it afterwards?
I'm still learning but initially I was bottling at the same pressure as which wasn't really successful. I'm going to try about 6psi next time. The weight of it is pretty good and yes, it's usually sufficient to hold it down without me needing to hold it in place. Cleaning is a piece of cake. I just use the same equipment I use to clean my beer lines. It's a small bottle with hand pump that I fill with a mixture of warm water and PBW. Works great!
Clear and simple explanation and demo, thanks! Did you build the drawer slider set-up yourself, or do or have a link to the build? It's exactly what I'm after.
Thanks! Yeah I did. Unfortunately I haven't documented the build yet. Basically I just bought drawer slides and mounted them vertically instead of horizontally. I need to a catch of some sort so that it can be held up and out of the way.
Exactly. So this is the same type of technology that a commercial brewery would use to bottle their beer off of a Bright Tank. Technically, you should even be able to let it sit warm, depending on the style. But like most beers, you'd still want to drink it as fresh as possible.

Awesome. Let me know how it turns out.
Great video. Love that stand as well.
Great Video - I have one on order. It would be great if you could put a video together how you built that cool stand.
I second that! Just picked up a filler that looks just like that, and I want to put together a stand to make it easier.
Hey Chris, I love the bottle filler you made. Do you have build plans for this? I want to get some of my keggedd beers out to friends!
Thanks,
I haven't yet. But I really should.

@@olivia_t88 no problem. Happy to help. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@BigEarl325is i succesfully bottled my beers. Thanks to your guidence 😀
Nice set up! Is the spear that the beer runs through adjustable so you can fill 750ml bottles also?

Yep, I set it up to be able to fill almost any size bottle, including 750's

Nah… you can use 1 tank. In fact it’ll probably be easier with just one tank.

Nope. You’ve got a damaged one. The first one I got was like that too.

@@BigEarl325is No worries, I reckon I could put it together from the video - drawer slides, genius move, cheers!
Nice. So you get beer that will last longer?

Hi. How to clean this filler ? 😁
