For those who never tried, you will be surprised how physical exhaustion can affect accuracy. And if you wear eye pro it starts fogging and all this is getting even worse. Everyone who owns a gun should be training like this.
Great training. The best part is when the odds are real and/or bullets are flying back, adrenaline is a hell of a drug. You will be superhuman for a limited amount of time. Senses are extremely heightened. Time slows down. Your hearing dumbs down(enough). The training makes it all come together so you barely have to think. You just do. I pray that day never comes for anyone.
My training has been sprinting 50 yards x 4, running around the tac bay with an empty 55 gallon barrel above my head and flipping a tire 10 times and then run to the line for a Casino shooting drill from concealment using the V tac. I do this as a loop and I have found that on the third round I am missing targets, but acceptable accuracy. By the fourth round I found my threshold. Training with friends we add fighting for underhooks for the win and that is really taxing. So much fun!

As a reservist that's only ever done the M9 pistol table once and never touched a handgun prior or after, (no bs the reserve unit instructor happened to be a NY State Police pistol instructor so I got my "handgun training" 30 seconds before shooting) it's amazing to hear that "ding" with a real-life operator making that noise under duress.
best thing about your videos is that you insert movement into your exercise. because unlike other military youtube channels imply, its not always or maybe even never CQB situations.
For those of us who can't afford to buy thousands of rounds of ammo, I highly suggest getting the tippmann m4-22lr and a taurus tx22. You can shoot thousands of rounds of 22 for cheap and shooting fundamentals still apply even with 22 and has made me an even better with my 9mm and 556. You can run an endless amount of drills like this and get the repetitions in and then do a couple with the real deal. Believe it or not, the tippmann m4-22 can reach out to 150 yards fairly consistently and 200 with a somewhat high hold over on a man sized target. Even for extended range i like to warm up with the tippmann and then switch to 556.
You can also get a 22lr conversion kit for your AR and save a little cash and train with your primary weapon. Great video! I definitely need to train more like this! Not sure why, but I was also counting his reps!
Ultramarathon running helped me more than anything. I could clear buildings, bound back and forth, sprint to locations and still remain steady/hit targets. While my peers were sucking wind, I would already be recovered and ready for more. Fitness is king, and some types of fitness really stand out.
@JA-jx1hk I was running (competing)100 mile ultra marathons in the mountains. My normal training routine was to run 85 to 105 miles a week, generally 5 days with 2 off so around 20 mile average per day. One day would be a long day(25 to 50) and I would have a couple of short 10 mile days. Of course, lifting and some crossfit type workouts on top of the running as well on short days.
