chain is better from jackshaft.. much less power loss (up to 30% probly more with pulleys that small vs less than 10%) idk those axles arent ideal power transfer either. they are still fun but my first racer was set up like this with a 20hp vtwin and my light mod raptor 3 (8-9hp) go cart would just blow it away round a track the mower was faster in the long run and could jump off the line too.. now i run circles around faster karts with a 18hp m.28 flatty and a 2 speed peerless 700..
Could you use a full keyway so you can adjust the up and down on the jackshaft pulleys with lock collars
What manufacturer of frame is that you’re using?
Where did you get the pulleys? Especially the 6in in the front.
Nathan Steed You can buy pulleys from tractor supply’s or order at usapulley.com
I flipped my transaxle no jack shaft needed
You never did a wiring video. Is that coming soon?
