Great podcast Spencer. Especially liked the section regarding fishing alpine lakes. Caught most of my fish these past two months in the Uinta and basically used the flies and location strategies you mentioned. Yielded plenty of Tiger, Brook, Cutthroat, Brown, and Rainbow. Getting to those alpine lakes is no easy task hiking in at 10,000 ft when you live the rest of the year at sea level but it is so well worth it. Never have I seen such clear water. Thanks again for the advice and keep up the good work !
Very cool! Love the Uintas. So much good stuff up there. 😎🤙🏽
I live in GA and I am excited to embark on my fly fishing journey. Looking forward to your videos. thank you!
Sweet! Excited for you to start. Let us know how we can help. 😎🤙🏽
I’ve been looking forward to something like this ! I live in Kamloops BC with literally hundreds of stocked lakes on the “ fishing highway “ here in Canada
Pumped to hear it! Let us know how it goes.
Since one of the questions mentioned fishing in southern Wisconsin, I have a quick question. I live and fish in NW Wisconsin. So we are dealing with toothy critters up here. To prevent being bitten off, would using a product like AFW leader material be a good idea? Thank you. God bless.
Thank you Spencer and VFC guys! Initially subbed due to the newbie master class, but I love this podcast.
I'm in the Denver area for work for a couple of weeks and am heading up to Estes Park this weekend. Anyone have any advice? Local fly shop said "pull over anywhere." Not looking for honey holes. Just want to maximize my time and see some must sees. If that makes sense. Thanks again.
Stoked to hear it. Never been to the park ourselves, but we’ve heard good things. I’m sure if you just find some water and tie on a dry dropper rig, you’ll get into some fish! 😎🤙🏽
