Hey man I have specific request for the game BODYCAM, its an FPS shooter on steam and I think it would fucking crazy if you did a 7900xtx vs 4090 benchmark, I can't think of anyone that has done it before.
Maybe run through woods map/hospital map from one end to the other, put the match on private so no one joins and just take averages from there comparing!

The 4090 truely is a monster. But gotta give tje 7900xtx its props for sure.
I know people think the 7900xtx is massively better for price/performance. But when you weigh out frames per dollar its much closer then you may think. Then if you include the tech and dlss it kind of makes sense.
Emulator, mods, games, drivers, application are nvidia centric
Day one launch gaming is better in nvidia as well
All these small aspects push ppl to nvidia
And other causes like nvidia is giant in pc gaming

@@Ghost-pb4ts not exactly, 7900 xtx and 4080 has equal cost and the Radeon still feels cooler to have, even through i know 4080 is generally better as the RT performance is bigger, DLSS Super resolution, framge generator and the yet exclusive ray reconstruction is better than FSR in a good margin.

Both have 16gig ram
And you would be an idiot to buy 4080 instead of 4090 if you have the budget

I like AMD for no apparent reason but their pricing lately is really making me think twice...and oh I'm still on an i7 10700 and a measly RX 580 btw ha.

Yes, the 7900xtx is nice but I already found its limitations.
Unreal Engine 5 games are going to need everything they can get performance wise.
4k gaming, needs at least 16gb of vram to be safe for a majority of games.
But when it comes to 'newly' released games, they can eat up even more.
but damn all the old games run good in 4k
But, it aint everything. 4k oled is nice, but any good HD setup with good color contrast without pixels would suffice. Soon, theres gonna be 1080p OLED monitors coming out this year.
I think the only thing the rx 580 lacks is Freesync.
Honestly, if you needed any more performance and wanted to touch a bit of RT tech, I recommended my friend a 6600xt red devil for his build, and its good enough to play our new favorite game called Body Cam (Unreal 5)
To the point he is top 1700 in the world :o
(body cam also has RT global illumination on by default) which is insane.

You need to calculate the fps to price ratio it's not as massive of a difference for price/performance as you think since the 409p is giving you so much. You need to account for the raster yes but also the tech and dlss numbers included when you way it out yes amd may edge it out but not by as much of a margin as you think when it comes to frames per dollar.
@@reviewforthetube6485 While he is for sure off in germany you can get a 7900xtx for around 960 euro while the cheapest 4090 is around 1750 euro, and if you bought these exact ones the 7900xtx is 1100 euro and the suprim x 1950 euro.
more like 1100 for a good 7900xtx Nitro card or 1800 for Tuf 4090

4K is more stressfull than ultra wide. If you play at a higher resolution you will get a lower core clock.

Ray tracing is on in F1 23, Far Cry 6, and Watch Dogs Legion.
There is not a single new game .. In the old games, everything has been clear for a long time.. shadow of the tomb raider (2018) ! cyberpunk 2077 (2020) watch dogs legion (2020) Why waste time on this?
