Mrs Bee P. it's fucking easer in the city you don't rest at your job and you have to worry about paying your rent and electiric Bill and pay insurance in the ranch life you don't have to worry about that bullshit
Lego lord the master of greatness and music i know this comment is two years old, but if you still have the same opinion, you still have to worry about electricity and insurance, much more too, owning a smaller farm/ranch isnt as expensive, but its still a lot of money, just wait till you lose a single cow, then you have to worry about earning enough money to just replace the cow and take care of other things. City life is much more luxurious, but living on the ranch is much more satisfying, if you know what to expect, and you have a passion.
Just buy some parcel of land or something and get a house built on it for a similar experience. You could probably work your way up to a few cattle and build up more land, eventually.

I have watched probably more than 500 videos on USA ranches from Montana to Texas and from the east to the west. Even though I watched it for different reasons, I found out that the problem with most ranch owners that they need stable extra income for many reasons, either for taking some time off and hire more workers instead or to expand or pay themselves more than minimum wage. The other problem facing most ranchers or the industry is passing the legacy to the next generation or the way you say it: preserving the ranch culture and tradition, since most of the younger generation move to the city and the rancher end up working until very old age or selling the ranch. I am sure there are other problems, but If these are your main problems, I have a very good solution that will solve them wonderfully. I guess God heard your problems but the White House didn't.

I grew up on a ranch. I want to buy my own. But with a 50 mil bill for just the property. HTF do you get that financed, without being bill gates...

What happens if the rancher's kids dont want a part of it? Then it is lost? Sold out? Maybe someone wants a chance to do what they never got to do...

Life on the ranch is good but you always have to be weary of vampires and Frankenstein’s.
