I used to be friends with their producer Bill Coleman and he was dj’ing in the basement of the Pyramid club when I first heard this track! I ran to the store and picked it up on vinyl because I already listened to the original Dancing Is Beautiful album religiously- (NY used to have a Saturday morning block of Indian news and the latest Bollywood music videos all through my childhood.) Bill was so humble he didn’t even mention that he was their producer until months after we became friends!
