I too love going the way of nature to aid in the health of our animals. A few years ago, I saw an article expounding upon the many healing qualities of Diatomaceous Earth/DE. It recommended adding DE to the goat's feed and water for various health issues. It turned out a friend of mine had a goat that was rapidly losing it's hair, lost it's pep, even it's appetite, basically not it's normal energetic, healthy self. I had a large supply of DE and delivered some to my friend for her goat. She put the DE in the food, water, as well as on it's coat. Within four days the goat's hair had grown back and it regained it's liveliness, as well as leaving no trace of parasites in it's stool. Who knew? : )
Yes, I found that babies needed deworming at about 6 weeks. Their famacha scrote was getting a little low and some get loose stools. There are other herbs that can be used, of course! Papaya seeds, black walnuts, and cloves.
Hi. I am new to dandelion root, so I got some supplements. Then I realized that I could just get dandelions from my yard. Can you tell me how many milligrams are in a single dandelion flower? Can you also tell me how long dandelions last once you pick them? Thank you
Dandelion greens will last in the fridge just Like salad greens. As far as flowers, they wilt fast, and drying them is not easy as they like to turn into fluff. Dandelion roots are amazing!!! Dig, wash, and make dry root medicine.

I use DE on their skin/ hair to combat goat lice, works pretty well
