- I have just published my new venture…The Retire in Thailand Magazine. As the name suggests it is a lifestyle magazine for the young at heart. Coincidently with all of the riots that are happening in the UK maybe it is time for you to be considering a new country to live in so take a look at my magazine it's full of information about living or retiring to the land of smiles. This video is about can you find love on a dating website.
A question I am often asked since I came to live in Thailand is how do you meet a nice lady in Thailand? Many men come here to visit bars and take bar girls (or Lady Boys) back to their hotels. But others come to find a beautiful Thai lady to hopefully spend the rest of their lives with. Here is my take on finding love in Thailand.

@@Forged721 Thanks mate I am glad that it was useful to you. I lived in Australia from 1974 until I came to Thailand in 2017. In 1974 it was paradise and had a government where Australians and Australia came first much like Thailand does today. Unfortunately something has gone terribly wrong and it's not the country that it once was.

Nice video Ged . I knew about one of the websites you mentioned and it can work out expensive on subscription. So the free options are great . Lovely ladies, irresistible actually. However, as a retired guy on limited income the costs of maintaining a relationship are a bit daunting unless expenses can be shared rather than taking on her wider-family expenses . Never sure of the real motives.

I have started an online magazine dedicated to retirees who have already retired or are considering retiring in Thailand. Each month I will interview an overseas expat to find out why they are thinking of retiring to Thailand in the future. If you would like to take part, I will send you a set Q&A for you to fill in and email back to me along with a photo of yourself. The questions are quite straightforward but if there were any questions that you didn’t want to answer you can just skip those. Ged things are scary now in the Uk. I live in Blackpool and we had protests which turned into riots this weekend.
I met my wife from Khon Kaen 8 years ago, and i am looking forward to moving to Hua Hin permanently next year..
@@pauldewhurst9291 Hi Paul. I remember we met you and Nisa last year. I don't blame you for getting out of the UK, it's a tinderbox waiting to blow. It's sad what it has become. To think we could stop Hitler invading with all of his armed forces but we can't stop dinghies full of illegal immigrants coming and trying to turn the whole of the UK into a Muslim country. The responsibility of my two elderly dogs are keeping me here, yet i'm planned & 100% ready to flee to Thailand when the time comes.
Right now at 10.50am I can hear the police sirens are in full voice, for yet more street violence.

Hello Ged,from a cooler (weather vise) Sweden,I agree with what you wrote,yes you can find a Thai women in a website, speak from my own experience,and she’s in every way one in a million of all the ladies in Thailand !! but I will not explain that here on RUclips,but maybe if we can meet up in Hua Hin some time,maybe next year I can explain why she’s one in a million of ladies in Thailand Ged, cheers😊😊

When you go to Baan Khun Por , do they bring the food you order to your table? I thought you order and bring it yourself.
Aa far as dating in Thailand, it seems a lot of foreign men think girls line up to meet them. I believe that comes from the pattaya experience, which is a fantasy, delusional outlook. In reality, it's like anywhere else...daunting to find a match.
@@keithd1219 Hi Keith. it depends on what you order., and how busy they are but I would say the majority of meals are brought to the table. The tables have numbers on them and you just pay and order from the food outlet then give them the table number. It's easy to find a girl here, it's finding the right one that is problematic as many are looking for someone to help them and their families financially.

Sorry, I misread your comment. May is 53. Many farang come here and hook up with girls young enough to be their granddaughters but they rarely work out. I prefer someone closer to my own age as we have more in common and we both appreciate each other.

@@jonhobson3592 Hi John there were race riots in 1960 in the Cannon Street area of Middlesbrough when I was a young boy and we lived in the Cannon Street area so it is not new to the town. But I think people have had enough. The government recently stopped the heating allowance for pensioners for this winter while giving tens of millions to other countries in aid and putting illegal immigrants up in hotels full board for free. Something had to give unfortunately and I am glad I am out of it here in Thailand and that I have no family living in the UK

I’m happy here. Early days compared to you , but so far so good. I’m not rich but cope ok. I said before I probably moved here too soon. But , I’m glad I did. I’m healthy ( so far) have insurance , monies in Thai & uk accounts..
