The solution for static is to take a “bounce” or other dryer sheet and the rub it lightly on your hair... not to much or your hair is going to look greasy (you can use a already used sheet if you want to make sure that you don’t get greasy hair). Just enough for the static to go away. I always carry a bounce sheet in my purse during the colder months!!

Our lives are so different, but I love watching your videos. They are like a warm cozy blanket to cuddle up in! You have such a comforting presence and I love how you make everyday a little adventure. I'm a full-time "career" woman working in finance and effectively a single mom (my partner lives 6 hrs away due to work and comes home every other weekend for the time being). My parents and I quarantine together and my mom nannies my son during the day while I work remotely in the other room. It is very unconventional and chaotic at times, but so rewarding. My son has been such a beautiful blessing and brings so much joy to us all. My advice is to wash your hair one day less per week during late fall until early spring (i.e. if you wash once a day wash every other, if you wash every three days go once every four, et cetera). Congratulations on your baby! Labor is hard but you were made for it. Take the contractions one at a time and breathe and remember it’s pain with a purpose. This really helped me in the thick of it to remember this. My little one was born the end of January also. Hard to believe that was almost a year ago. It’s a great time to have a baby, it’s cold outside and you can stay inside postpartum, and then when you’re ready to come out of your baby cave, it starts getting warmer by then! She is the light of my life. Maybe they will share a birthday! Praying all goes well. You’ve got this mama! A tip for hair static I use is to take a dryer sheet and put it on your hairbrush and poke the bristles through it then brush your hair, it works great for me and my daughter!

A tip for hair static I use is to take a dryer sheet and put it on your hairbrush and poke the bristles through it then brush your hair, it works great for me and my daughter!

I grew up around Buffalo, NY, and the static was INTENSE. I always ran a dryer sheet down my hair a few times and that worked for me!
