    Could you please make some videos on Ph.D. programs in Canada? It would be very helpful if you can provide the below information :
    1. End-to-end process to get enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Canadian Universities.
    2. What are the universities which are not only looking for grads and looking for overall package what you are putting on the table when you are going to a research program.
    3. About Scholarships and funded programs.
    4. Daily Life of a Ph.D. student in Canada.
    5. What are the chances to get PR after completing the Ph.D. program.
    6. List of Top Universities which are providing a huge range of research areas.
    7. List of few universities where the chances of getting admission to the Ph.D. program are high.

    I’m in a bit of a dilemma.
    I’m planning to visit Canada with a two year Post Graduate Degree and would like to know how to show my funds for visa approval.
    1/ Do I need to have LIQUID CASH available in the bank six months prior to applying?
    2/ Would FIXED DEPOSITS work as a sign of funds available?
    3/ Would a student loan for the entire amount of education and stay be enough to apply for visa?
    Please do let me know.
    Appreciate all your efforts.

    Informative video and I am glad because it confirmed some things for my application. I realized your guest is German.I am currently in Germany and planning to leave for Canada. Germany is a very racist, intolerant and closeminded country at the moment for internationals here. New rules and regulations make it difficult for international students who graduate to integrate in their society alongside the unwelcoming attitude for foreigners. I saw the pretentious composure from Felix, typical German he is .im surprised he is Canada because Germans here don’t normally talk positive about North America in general. Ask him about Germany and you would be shocked.
    Thanks and I will we get more videos

    • @studyliveexploreca
      @studyliveexploreca  4 года назад +1

      Bobby Gh Based on ur comments, seems like it also reflects on you. Racism is everywhere, even in Canada, and we should not generalize it based on ur personal experience. Don’t judge people based on a 10 minute video :D like I said, everything u said completely shows ur character as well. Before you decide to move to Canada, think first because you will also encounter a lot of germans and other ethnic group. Anyways atleast Felix helped u answer some of ur questions for ur application :)

    • @bobbygh1221
      @bobbygh1221 4 года назад +1

      @@studyliveexploreca
      First of all, let me state that I wasn’t really targeting Felix personally but just using him as a reference for the attitude and behavior of Germans which is a fact. I don’t expect you to understand because it seems obvious you have not lived or visited Germany yet. One good thing is that, regardless of the numbers of German ethnic group in Canada, they cannot intoxicate the society with the kind of racism, rudeness and intolerance they have in Germany. Canada is not perfect, and yes can still improve , but compared to Germany, it’s way better and miles ahead in terms of multiculturalism, tolerance, inclusiveness and appreciation for immigrants.
      And yes, I appreciate the contribution from this video. Thanks

      Hi , thanks for your feedback !
      I would not recommend carrying a lot of cash.There is a limit of CAD 10.000 at at customs as well I believe.
      I would do an online transfer later once I am in Canada and have a Canadian Bank account. To get a Bank account you need to go in person, bring your study permit and SIN number, etc.
      Unless you do a GIC, you can send money there earlier I believe.

Regarding Canada Study visa, I have shown an amount as proof of funds in my bank account for which my bank account statement is submitted with the visa application. My question is from thereon, do I need to maintain or retain the mentioned balance amount (which was shown in my bank account during visa filing) in the bank account under my study visa results have come or can I break the account to withdraw the funds, if Yes then will breaking of funds before my application results will lower down the possibility of Study visa in Canada.

    Hi guys. Firstly, thanks for a perfectly structured video. I've just one question. I've stock that worth almost 50k and I don't want to cash them before I go to Canada. Even that much money not considered as cash, since I can cash them in 2 days?
    To illustrate, We're 3 as family. My wife, my daughter and myself.
    I'll study a 2 year program.
    I've 50k worth stock and I still can show the 1 year payment + 20k CAD cash.
    Is it still better to show only like 50k cash instead? I just want my money to grow until I go there. Is it so wrong for their consideration :)

    Hi thank you for this video, i would like to ask if how long does it take before i can get my bank cert or proof that i have a GIC from the day I opened it? Thanks

    • @studyliveexploreca
      @studyliveexploreca  4 года назад

      Hi,
      with a GIC you should get it pretty soon once they received your money.
      If you show your bank account, get a cert from your bank, make sure to provide 4-6 months of your account history as well.

      If you need to use that account on a daily basis then small amounts are ok, but the majority of course needs to stay there as you need it for Canada. (Unless you use some to pay tuition fees for example).

I was wondering if I could get your opinion on this: My mother in law is sponsoring me and I have all the required documents for it. However, my first semester will be paid by someone in Canada as a personal favor. Do I have to provide proof of who and how was my first semester paid or is showing the receipt enough?? Can that be a red flag of some kind?
    Thanks again for your content!! Kind regards from Colombia.

    Hello- new subscriber here!
    I need an advice pls😊
    I am planning to take a program on Customer/Client Relationship Management in Toronto. After finishing this course, I’ll apply for PGWP program. But I also know that I may NOT BE able to land a job on supervisory levels during my PGWP because the entry-levels of the above-mentioned course that Im planning to take belong to NOC job C- which as a result will also not qualify me for FSW application. So my question is, can I apply for PNP on any of the provinces as an alternative instead?

    Hi Ms. MC, my uncle will sponsor me throughout my study in Canada, he is a PR in Canada by the way. Would it be okay if I only provide a letter of support to the VO? I think the Affidavit of Support should be notarized and I watched on some other videos that it's hard to get papers notarized in Canada.

    • @studyliveexploreca
      @studyliveexploreca  4 года назад +1

      Hi,
      Well it doesn't have to be, it just makes it a bit more trustworthy.
      Its not hard to get papers notarized, you just go to a lawyer or Public Attorney, takes five minutes and cost maybe 20-30 $
      Bank-statements are pretty strong as well.

      You can use the GIC as a proof of funds as soon as they have your money and you have proof of that. Not sure what exactly the bank gives you but should be some form of statement or certificate.

    How safe your money is in a GIC account on a scale of 10 if you're being refused

    • @studyliveexploreca
      @studyliveexploreca  4 года назад +1

      You mean getting it back because your visa application got refused?
      It depends on the banks terms and conditions, they will likely charge a service fee, regardless.
      But I would say 9-10 in terms of getting your actual savings back. (remember the currency conversion fees etc as well )
