      Hi MC
May niece ako sa Philippines intresado siya mag aral sa Canada. Grade 10th siya sa ngayon.
Pwede ba nya maisama mga parents nya sa application nya as a student visa?
Paano yung GIC? Saan ako pwede kumuha ng GIC?
Paano umpisa sa pag apply ng student visa sa Canada?
      Salamat.

I do have a question for you though if I only have 1 year tuition fee secured and I plan to work part time and on the summer to get next years tuition fee would you say that is a good plan ? Because it Is very difficult to get two years tuition fee for me.

      Thank you for watching!
It really depends on your expenses and part time income.
Not saying its impossible but can be challenging for sure.
I recommend to do some research on what your expenses will roughly be and possible income, and then you'll see.

      Hi,
Check the terms and conditions of the GICs on the banks websites.
A GIC is probably most helpful if your proof of funds/ bank statement is not very strong, authentic...
Its a very safe way to proof your funds, and might give you some benefits like interest payments as well.

For example, If I have 10,000 CAD in my bank (cost of living) but my college fee is 16,000 CAD ..Can I show proof of funds for the 16,000 through assets ( Jewelry, car and sponsorship ?
Also, if I have a friend who is a permanent resident of Canada and she is willing to sponsor my living cost (rent) for the time period of my education, will this be a good idea and increase my chances to get a study permit ?

      your welcome.
1 year of tuition and 1 year of living expenses is something but more would be better. It depends on the costs overall.
You have to explain to CIC how you will fund your entire stay and tuition. If you don't have all the money yet, at least provide a realistic plan on how you will pay once your savings are gone..
