That track was among the best of the franchise. Can't help but to think there was some symbolism : - It was likely set in New-York. A big town easily overcrowded , yet the fight was set on a sullen and backwater place with a strong feel of solitude. - The fight was occuring at the end of the day. The Kusanagi are represented by the sun. The setting sun may represent Iori's will to make disappear the Kusanagi. - The crows , if i remember right it was believed in japanese folklore that there was a dead person in the neighborhood when the crow made a noise or screamed strangely.
