    Hi Laurin - you have impeccable attention to detail, and very, very thoughtful (& creative) technique. It is clear that you have considerable experience, something that allows a sense of relativity and reflection. Your ability to help people understand your thought process is also great.     Laurin has some good tips, but I've been painting in watercolor full time for almost 50 years and he's too OCD for me! I'd never get around to actually painting if I had to do this much preparation each time. Wow...
