    Seasoning:
    - Garlic Powder (not Garlic Salt)
    - Onion Powder
    - Pappy's or any other all purpose seasoning
    - Worcester Sauce
    - Soy Sauce (reduced sodium advised)
    - Browning Sauce
    - Minced Garlic *hit it with 2 fat spoons of that.
*Measure by eye and turn over to marinate evenly.

It's pretty funny - you can ALWAYS find a few commenters complaining about salt in every food video on RUclips.
I just hope each one of them realizes they don't have to follow exactly what they see in these videos.
Observe and switch it up when you cook the dish - give the alternatives in your comments. Don't point out what you think is wrong then leave.

ain't it funny--all the meats we used to have to buy because they were cheap are now expensive--oxtails, chitlins--the only thing that is still not expensive is neckbones--oh, that and smoked turkey... once the restaurants get a hold of it, we are hard-pressed to afford it. you said yourself that 4 pounds of tails cost you $20. it's a darn shame!!! delicious, though. they make us pay through the nose to enjoy what we HAD to eat as kids...

If you take out the liquid and then cover your oxtails and vegetables, put the liquid in an ice bath it’ll separate quickly and you can remove the fat easily throw it in the microwave for a minute and forward over the meat and vegetables and you’ll have your gravy without having to wait a day

When the other viewer ask about your spices and pans I already knew!!!! u are so down to earth and easy to understand i love your video!!!! and GF arent oxtails greasy?????? cant just pan gravey with them LOL U GOTTA DRAIN THEM BY BOILING THEM FIRST AND KEEP RINSING THE WATER OFF , AND PERSONALLY I WOULDNT WASTE MY SEASONINGS AT THIS STAGE. With all due respect people from the Caribbean dont own how to make ox tails.
That's a traditional meal across the board for all former slaves even in the south. So please understand why we ate the tails from pigs and cows etc. It was the throw away meat the slave masters gave all our ancestors but what they didn't know was we was eating it before we became slaves that's why we know how to prepare and cook them. Take pride in your heritage

    • @beafromsandiego

But The thing is, its not a staple in black american dishes. Black americans eat a lot of fry food. People in the caribbean eat a lot of grill, steam, bake, broil and escovitch foods. Black Americans and white americans are coming to the caribbean at a high clip and copying a lot of the stuff that they do there. You now have kansas city jerk chicken and the copying goes on and on. Oxtail is a meal caribbean people eat on a daily basis. Not so for black americans but i like the fact that you guys are slowly moving away from the fry foods. Popeyes and kfc will kill you real quick

@@Stewy-xw9fz I don’t know who told you that but almost every full service Soul Food restaurant I’ve been in serves OxTails… We have other ways of cooking meat besides frying it. We have other dishes besides fried chicken, greens, and candied yams. Stop generalizing Black American food.. I’ve seen Caribbean ppl cooking dishes common with Black Americans too.. We don’t fry everything. 🙄
