@meathead2676 it's a great rifle! It's super smelly when it fires but it's accurate as hell and consistent, plus I love the picatinny rail as opposed to the super thin dovetail that most air rifles utilize.
Yea , I have this air rifle ...it kicks and is accurate, I use jus my hand ...military hold..jus lay it in my front hand ....Powerful and not expensive for target practice..
Yeah it's a great rifle, especially for the price. After the 3rd shot I removed the rear holder and the accuracy improved significantly... same with my Gamo Magnum. Basically anything with a lot of kick is best to hold in hand cause your arm does a much better job at absorbing the kick than a stationary holder does. This Ruger is a smelly smokey kick machine (hence why I named it 'Roadhouse' lol) but like you said, it's a great budget rifle with above average accuracy.
Nah, not a Gamo! It's a Ruger. This rifle has the most kick out of all my rifles (hence it's name 'Roadhouse' lol) So for the 1st, 2nd (blank cause I didn't load pellet) and 3rd shots I am using both holsters and am resting the barrel on the holder... at 2:48 you'll see that I stop using rear holster and start resting the end of the rifle frame on the holster instead of the barrel, which significantly increases the accuracy for rest of shots. As far as the pellets go, I may have gotten a bunk batch, because these pellets are usually excellent but looking in the tin of pellets I got almost all of the skirts have atleast some type of imperfection, so I would guess that is probably also contributing to accuracy issues. But from 4th shot on it is definitely better!
How far away was your target? Just bought this Gunn, I already have the Ruger max elite 22. It hits hard and straight.
@@meathead2676 25 yards! 22,86 meters!

Is it a lemon ? Or just pellets not matching with it?
This or a Gamo? What do you recommend?
