    OMG .. I'm a Nigerian living in UK. And I can relate to her story about pushy Nigerian parents. These were my mum's exact words when I was in elementary school "That student that scored 100%..how many heads does he have? ..1 ..so do you. You should always aim to get the maximum score". I owe my life's successes, determined spirit and self-drive to my mum

      Her Nigerian accent, isn't necessarily her natural accent but picked up from her parents. She puts it on when she is trying to depict her parent, it is done deliberately.

      La Verne You already said they are poor not all though and poor people can’t afford education even when they believe in its power but if they ever find a chance or an opportunity trust they grabbing it with both hands. We strive harder out here too because, getting educated in Nigeria doesn’t guarantee a job due to the issues we have with our government. I mean this is general knowledge but glad you asked

But when you add up the core north,the illiteracy no's lowers down. Northern Nigeria is more conservative, little into western education but more focussed on Islamic education and doctrines.

      Right! I was a little disappointed when I saw that the interview is only 25 minutes. I know that the reason why some of the interviews are so short is because the celebs have other interviews or activities scheduled for the day.
