thanks heaps for the video bro. this was actually way better than id expected. I'm a photographer of 8 years and you nailed all of the settings INCLUDING METERING witch is a massive plus and is overlooked A LOT. great work...
Top stuff and you explain in detail how it all works. It's nice that you mentioned the Phantom Pro4 V2 which is the drone I have. Even though it is not talked about that much these days it's still a good piece of kit and has a lot of functions. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for sharing. Interesting and practical content as always. I’m taking steps to get into the drone industry and it is good to see informative videos that also happen to be from a Melbourne based company.
I just love these videos because it's giving me tips for my production company when I get older I also live in Melbourne one day i hope I run into you because I've got many questions about quadcopters.😁
Thanks Aaron, it's been a while since we've been out modelling, but a few tips in there I hadn't considered... Now I just need to go through the arduous process of re-doing our lapsed ReOC no thanks the CASA!
I`m in a home inspection (facade) small business. Really liked the digital twin for reporting issues and reports for customers. I don`t have the necessity for asset managing. Whatou would be the ideal drone/software to work under this scenario? Most of soft. aims asset management and have prohibitive prices for small business inspection. Great Video!
I could be wrong but was it GSD more reference to how large a pixel is at the surface of the subject being photographed period for example one or two cm equal one pixel? It could be referenced other ways and that's why I'm just throwing it out there cuz this was the first that I heard it referenced at the distance from the object
Great video, wish I watched before spending all day shooting blurry images and trying to use them and having to do over!! The Reality Capture software is pretty good imo
Great Video, I do have a question though. Isn’t GSD the distance between pixel centers? When you say 6 GSD, is that in centimeters, millimeters, etc? I agree that the chimney model has great accuracy (2mm) but I’m not sure how the 6 GSD ties into this. If you could clarify this that would be great, thank you for all the helpful videos.
6 meter GSD would mean that the pixel centers of your images is 6 meters apart which isn’t what you have since you have 2mm accuracy. I know the term seems confusing, i had to look it up.
I don't even have a drone yet and I am loving your content. Are there any programs you would recommend that are free to learn/use that come close to Drone Deploy before I shell out for the paid use?
Wow, good job! Rarely have we seen 3D modeling described so well, especially on a per drone basis! What were all the shots you showed of the building up close? They seemed like far more detail than I'm getting with my inspire x7! Again though, great job. That was incredibly consice, to the point, and easy to understand! Thanks for the info!
@@UAVISUALS Do you have any tips on how to actually FIND or hook up with construction type jobs? I live near multiple cities, but no matter what we do we only seem to be able to hit real estate and private party jobs. :(

Thanks for the feedback man! Old video but still relevant 👍🏾

What viewer would you recommend for sharing with your clients?

What 3d software and viewing platform do you share project with clients.

What’s the recommended software for stitching the model together?

My area is needing a lot of drone business and only few operators in the area. I’m about to start a sole business. Thanks for the motivation visuals🙏
Opportunity awaits! Time to dominate 👊🏽
Thank you for this! Amazing work
Maaaaate this is gold! Thanks.
Great tutorial!

Thanks! The model we found with the highest detail was taken with the X7.
@@UAVISUALS Wow! Your x7 models are on POINT. We still seem to be getting clearer models out of the air 2s somehow... Must be missing some settings!
