I loved watching your podcast even though I can't knit. Your creativity has been amazing to witness ever since you were a very little girl. I'm so proud of you Wilma. /Love Mum ❤
You are so talented, I can’t believe the sweater you are wearing was the first project you made, it’s so perfect. You have inspired me to make one for myself. The mittens and the hat are also so nice, love your choice of color
Hi Wilma , I’m so happy I found your podcasts! I love your style and the designs you pick are so beautiful. Hope you’ll make much more videos in the future. 🥰😍
Hi I absolutely love your podcasts you are a natural in front of the camera Your work is amazing The tank top fits you perfectly so pleased you will make a second one The crossover cardigan is beautiful I’m so excited to see it finished Sending lots of love from the uk xx❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh my goodness - your Terracotta sweater is beautiful! I love your colour choices throughout your projects - so soft and delicate. Sound great thanks. Knitting on second sleeve of Home Lite cardigan by Caidree whilst watching - must say - I think I will now have to look closely at knitting the Terracotta 🥰😆🙏
Love your second podcast Wilma! You choose such beautiful projects! I would like to know your knitting story. How did you become a knitter? How did you learn to knit? How often do you knit? Also I love your continental purl stitches! I tried to repeat after you, but it didn't work. My style is similar to yours, so that's why I would like to know more about your knitting style :)
Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words and for your questions!🥰 I will do my best and try to answer some of them in a future video!😊 I wish you all the best, and happy knitting!❤️
Hi Wilma. I very much enjoy your podcast. Thank you for sharing. That’s amazing that you were able to knit that sweater in needles three sizes up! I would never even have thought to try that. Thank you for the inspiration and keep up the good work😊
That is the first time I see your podcast (from France) and I love it ! Your universe is sweet, neutral and yours projects is inspiring :) Your Kuutar is amazing and I admiring of your Terracotta sweater project !
I really enjoyed your podcast! I love your decorating estetic! So soothing! I am currently finishing a sweater, hat and socks for my granddaughter! It's gift knitting over here! I tend to knit in some bright colors! Keep on knitting and podcasting!!❤❤🎉
watching this video in bed, my knitting on my lap, socks on my sock blockers and a cup of tea after work is such a treat! i already love this podcast 🥰
Hi Annika! Thank you so much!❤️ That sounds so cozy! Exactly how i like to watch knitting podcasts while i knit!🥰 I wish you a wonderful day and happy knitting! 😊
Hi! I’m so glad that I found your videos. Your work is beautiful! I like your style. I am currently working on a few projects. One of them is the Etoile Slipover. It’s a beautiful textured piece.
Hi Wilma, Loved your podcast. I think I found you just in the right moment, I just started working on Sari Nordlund's Poetry sweater (working with scrap yarn to see how it will go as I have no experience with lace patterns) and I was thinking that perhaps I should modify the pattern and knit the lace pattern on the yoke only and finish the rest in stockinette. It is not difficult but I can tell it will go slowly (especially using 3.75 mm needles) so maybe I will just save myself some time and purchase the Kuutar. I really like the pattern on the cuffs, it makes it very pretty. Thanks for the inspiration!
Your Kuutar and Terracotta sweaters are beautiful! I'm jealous of your snuggly warm Terracotta. I live in a very lot climate with few days cold enough to justify such a warm and cozy sweater. I do make some snuggly shawls, but my sweaters are mostly tees made with blends with linen, cotton, silk, and bamboo.
Thank you so much!🥰❤️ I’m thankful for the cold and cosy climate here in the north! But sometimes I feel a bit jealous of you how live in a warm climate😍 Especially during the very long and dark winter here☺️ Thankfully knitting can easily be adjusted to our climate, seasons and mood!🤩🧶
Hi Wilma, I enjoyed your podcast! The cardigan you're going to knit is gorgeous, I can't wait to see it. I'm just waiting for my yarn to arrive for my Terracotta sweater so it's so nice to see someone else working on it! Happy knitting :-) Lotte
Hi Wilma! Love your podcast and all of your projects-they are gorgeous! I am so impressed by your abilities and admire that you are fearless when it comes to learning new things. You are inspiring me to branch out and try new things! 😊
Lovely, interesting and inspiring ideas again, Wilma. Your knitting and your colour choices are beautiful. Also you get so many things finished. 🙂🧶🇬🇧 xx
Lovely 2nd video. I’m currently working on a jumper for my daughter in law. It is colour work. I’m not sure what my next cast on will be. I tend to cast on and do my own design as I go. See you next time 😊
What a lovely podcast!!! Very calming and such beautiful knits that you have knitted. As I was watching you I was finally finishing upon a vest sweater for my husband called Lighthouse Vest by Drops Design and I’m knitting it in a Malabrigo Rios yarn in the color #645 Casapueblo which is a very deep teal color. Thank you and till I see you again Happy Knitting. 🧶 Kathy from Massachusetts
Congrats on your second PC. Well done. You should watch "Those twins who knit". You could be their other 'twin'. You definitely have the same aesthetic!
The sound is fine good microphone! The sweater you are wearing is gorgeous! I love all of your wips! This is so much fun to have the many beautiful Projects you are knitting!
You taste is right my alley’s I was eyeing the sweater you are wearing and wondering if I’m up for it Now that I heard what you said . I’m might just go for it. It looks absolutely gorgeous on you. The first I notice was your lambmie mug I too collect tons of mugs from all over the world.. Thanks for sharing. You must have a gift of knotting😊
You are so kind! thank you so much!💕😍 Yes, you should really try to knit the Kuutar! It is lovely🥰 I hope you have a wonderful day, and happy knitting!🌷
Hi Ally!🤗 Thank you so much!💕That is so kind of you!🙏🏻 I really enjoy watching you podcast! You are so talented!🥰 I hope you have a wonderful day! Happy knitting!🌷
I love the sweater you are wearing in the video. Just added it on my future knitting list 🥰 knitting on the little project of Penny Gloves by Petite Knit while watching the video 🫶
Thank you so much Emily!❤️ It’s a bummer that we live on opposite sides of the planet. I have a feeling that we would get along really well and be really good knitting friends!🥰
New mic sounds great! I love Q + As so I have a lot of questions! What made you want your masters in pharmacy? I just started my first year of dental school and it’s so stressful, how do you find time to prioritize knitting while also in school? What are your pattern suggestions for growing in your knitting skills? I’ve been really wanting to make a cable knit sweater or a color work sweater but am afraid I might pick something too ambitious so if you know of any intermediate patterns of the sort I’d love to hear them! How many languages do you speak? What is your favorite tea/coffee? Favorite color/animal? I’m excited to get to know you, I have been thoroughly enjoying your podcasts!
Hi Kayla!😊 Thank you so much for supporting me and for all your lovely questions!❤️🙏🏼 I’m going to do my best to try and answer some of them in an upcoming video! I’m so glad you’re enjoying my podcasts, that really motivates me to keep on posting videos🥰 I wish you all the best! Happy knitting🌷
I also want to knit the Terracotta sweater! I love the Greek key motif. I’m an English thrower so when I knit colorwork, I just throw both strands with my right hand. I haven’t ever tried to knit continental. I’m currently making the Mosaic Sweater which is an all over colorwork piece and it has been so much fun!
Currently working on a Christmas stocking for our infant. Hopefully I'll be able to cast on either the Aurelia or Calliope pullover by Sari Nordlund (or both if I feel up to it). Thank you for the lovely episode!
I enjoyed your second video as much as your first : ) You choose such beautiful pieces and your knitting is exquisite. I've had both the Kuutar and the Terracotta in my favorites for a while and now I really want to get going on one of them. My daughter knitted the Jasmine Scarf. I believe the english version is available as a link on the Ravelry project page. I'm curious about the coaster behind you. Did you crochet it and if so would you share the pattern name? It would be great for gift knitting. See you next time 😊
Hi! Thank you so much for your kind words! 💕And also thank you for letting me know about the English version of the pattern. 🥰 I also realised that there is an English version after posting my video..😅 And yes, i actually did crochet that coaster in the background, however it was a very long time ago.. I do believe I followed a RUclips tutorial, but unfortunately i can’t remember what it was called.. Maybe try searching for “chochet coaster tutorial” on RUclips? ☺️ I wish you a lovely day and happy knitting!🌷
Hi Wilma, I plan to knit the terracotta sweater, I got the yarn ,but I have to dye it first, naturally, so it will take me awhile to get to the knitting part. I am excited for it, though. Yourknits are super nice, love your colour choices 30:51 . I also want to knit the porcelain, round yoke version, sadly also want to dye the yarn for it too. Take care, from B.C.,Canada.
Hi Melissa!😊 Thank you for for your comment and for your kind words!❤️ How interesting! I would really like to know more about dying my own yarn. Do you use plant materials for drying? Have a wonderful day and happy knitting🌷
@@KnitsByWilma hi Wilma, I use mushrooms and lichens that I forge. Today though, I am experimenting with with steaming mordanted yarn with dried and fresh flower petals, it is sort of working, I am going to knit a new Vera Valimaki 💯 % rain sweater with it, I was trying to mimic the yarn in the sample. It’s the crewneck rib sweater.
I knit colourwork in continental style. Both yarns run from the back of the left hand to the inside between the little finger and ring finger. MC is placed between thumb and forefinger from the front around the forefinger, CC between middle and forefinger from the back around the forefinger so that both threads cross over on the forefinger. I learnt this technique in a Fair Isle course in Munich. I take a third thread in my right hand. I hope this is somewhat understandable. I don't know if this technique has a special name. Dear Wilma, I've really enjoyed watching your two podcast episodes so far. I really like your choice of colours and your knitted works, as well as your beautiful sheep mug. Many greetings from Germany.
Thank you so much dear Bettina for you kind words and for sharing you technique with me!😍💕 that is so interesting!🤗 I wish you a lovely day and happy knitting!🌷🥰
My sister and I are also avid collectors of nice coffee mugs. During the covid pandemic when we couldn't leave the house we lined up all our mugs and ranked them from least to most favourite one afternoon when we were very bored. I love the combination of the colourwork and texture on the Terracotta sweater, I will have to look up the pattern. I am a continental knitter and am learning to knit colourwork in the same way as you (holding one colour in each hand) but I need to practice a bit more, as I find that my yarn tension with my throwing hand is quite a bit tighter than with my continental hand.
Hi!😊 Thank you so much for your lovely comment and for sharing your technique! I really enjoyed hearing about the ranking of the mugs! That is absolutely something i would do as well🥰 Thanks again, and i wish you all the best! Happy knitting 💕
I knit a lace yoke sweater as my first garment as well - the My size Dahlia by Lene Holme Samsoe. I learnt so much knitting that sweater and happily jump into "hard" things. If you can knit, purl, yarn over, k2tog and follow a RUclips tutorial then there should be no stopping you in my opinion
Another great episode! I am excited to be getting some new yarn tomorrow for the Rebel Cardigan by Ankestrick, but I am adding the Kuutar sweater for a project in the near future, it's so lovely! Thank you Wilma!
I also want to knit the Terracotta Sweater. I love the Greek key motif. I’m knitting the Mosaic Sweater currently and it is an all over colorwork piece. I am an English thrower and I’ve just been throwing both yarns with my right hand. I haven’t ever tried knitting continental. So intimidating! I love following you and your knitting!
Thank you so much for for supporting me and for your sweet comment!💕 I really recommend you to knit the terracotta sweater, it is so beautiful. and the more I knit in it, the more excited I get over the result and how it fits!🥰 Also, thank you for sharing you knitting technique! It is so interesting to hear!😍 Have a lovely day and happy knitting!🌷🫶🏼
Another lovely podcast! I’ve been knitting the Holme sweater by Mode at Rowan whilst watching ☺️ I am definitely going to need to make those mittens! They are just lovely 😻
Thank you so much!💕 I also love filcolana Arwetta in the colour Marzipan. It is delightful!🥰 And i really think you should try the jasmine scarf! Especially now when I’ve noticed that there is an English version of the pattern on Ravelry! I missed that.😅 I wish you a lovely day and happy knitting!🌷
Your Terracota sweater will be so beautiful and I love those colours. I have just knitted Kuutar sweater. It is Light Blue (Arwetta and Isager silk mohair). I have also another Kuutar sweater. It's Grey and yarns are CamaRose Lamauld & Filcolana Tilia. Just now I'm knitting Sari Nordlund 's Calliope Tee (Pink Daisy colour of Knitting for Olive). I wish you happy autumn❤!
Hi Wilma! Tanya here from Dallas, Texas USA 😊 So I bought the Pi Camisole and wondering if you had the same issue I have on page 3, line 3. The Knit stitches for size XS and so on seem like a typographical error. I tried to reach out to the designer; however, I never received a response. Do you think she meant 8 (12) 14 (20) 20 (20) (24)? On the pattern it reflects, “Next, knit 8 (2) 4 (0) 10 (10) 10 (14) ….” I appreciate your help! I’m only a year into knitting and wanted to let you know how much your podcast helped me level up my craft! Yes to a video on steeking!
Hi!🤗 thank you so much for you sweet comment and for watching🥰🙏🏻 I’m sorry for the delayed answer, I guess you’ve already decided on what to do? Since some time have passed since I knitted the picamisole, I unfortunately can’t remember if i noticed that error in the pattern and if/what a did to fix it. I don’t recall noticing a typo in the pattern..😅 I sincerely hope that it has worked out for you! And I apologize for not being able to offer any help in this case. Wishing you all the best and happy knitting!🌷😊
Hi Wilma what a beautiful podcast.your c coffee mug is so cute 😆🐑Your knitting projects are stunning 🤩 I look forward to your future videos to watch your progress 🧶I have just looked for the Jasmine scarf pattern and it is in English with video support on the Purl Soho website if any of your followers want to make it 🌺
Hi! Thank you so much! And thank you for sharing that with me!🥰 I also noticed that the English version of the pattern was available on Ravelry.. 😅 I wish you a wonderful day and happy knitting!😊
Really liked the Jasmine scarf and checked it out. They have a link to the English version on Ravelry 🎉that is for sure a soon to be cast on. Love your channel. Good job. Good luck with everything ❤
Hi! Thank you so much for sharing this and for your kind words!🥰 I discovered this right after i had posted the video.. 😅 the English pattern was available as a link under the pattern page on Ravelry. I will make sure to point that out the next time a talk about the scarf in a video! Thanks again, and i wish you a lovely day and happy knitting!🌷😊
Thank you for a lovely podcast, it was very inspiring…all your knits are beautiful! Loved your little sheep mug and wondered if your coaster was knitted too?
Hey Wilma, I love your knitting style and am excited about the matching headband. I noticed that most of the knitting patterns you chose are from the North European designers. It will be great to see you recommend some North European designers who are less known by the English-written pattern knitters. (If that's what you'll consider🤩) I'm totally ready to knit with Google Translate and see you on the next podcast!
Hi! Thank you so much for your lovely comment and for watching my video!❤️ It is so fun to be able to share my love for knitting with other knitters online, and it makes me so happy to have the opportunity to inspire others! I haven’t really thought about it, but it seems that most of the pattern designers I’m drawn to are Northern Europeans.☺️ However, i would very much like to broaden my horizon as well, so if you have any favourite designers, please feel free to share!🥰 I wish you a wonderful day and happy knitting!🌷
It's spring where I am 🇦🇺 so I'm finishing up winter projects (my modified mayball wrap cardi) and then I'm casting on a Luna Tee in a merino wool for office days because even though it'll be summer soon, the air-conditioning is cold
Nice to see a new episode from you ❤ I am knitting with the yarn on my neck, this is how I've learned from my grandmother and mother. A few years ago I noticed that here on youtube people are not using the same knitting method so I had to do a little search because I was very confused 😅 It seems that I am using a variation of the portuguese/greek knitting style. I can say that my style of knitting it is better for my hands and I am a fast knitter because of it. Not that beeing a fast knitter it is a goal of mine, however, for 7 years I have been knitting for professional photographers, I have been knitting photography prop outfits for children photography sessions and beeing a fast knitter helped me to reach deadlines for my custom orders. I can knit continental or englush stule but it does not feel natural to me, my style of knitting helps me to control the tension esoecially on the purl side. And purling for me it is actually a pleasure the way I am doing it. Happy knitting, Maria.
Thank you so much for you lovely comment!🤗 I loved hearing about you knitting technique!😍 I think it so interesting how we all do it differently! I would love to try that technique!🥰 Thank you for sharing and for supporting me! I truly appreciate it!🫶🏼 Have a lovely day and happy knitting!🌷😊

All your projects are wonderful, many of them are on my list. Thank you for a great episode ❤
Thank you so much!🥰💕
I love the sweater you are wearing today! I was knitting my august vest test knit for oops and loops while watching
Thank you so much!🥰🙏🏼
I really enjoy knitting to your video, it's inspiring and calming. I'm knitting Villa wrap by Anne Ventzel. 💚 In Knitting for Olive yarn
How lovely!!! Everything!!!
Love the Kuutar sweater. I think I'll make that one next x
Thank you!❤️ Go for it!🤗
Your Kuutar sweater is extremely lovely! Inspires me to want to knit one too!
Thank you so much! I’m so glad!🥰💕🙏🏻
Så härligt avsnitt med så fina projekt!😍
Very nice podcast.... very well done.... elegant background....
Thank you so much!❤️😊
All your current and future projects are beautiful another beautiful podcast
Thank you so much!💕😊
I knit a lace yoke sweater as my first garment as well - the My size Dahlia by Lene Holme Samsoe. I learnt so much knitting that sweater and happily jump into "hard" things.
If you can knit, purl, yarn over, k2tog and follow a RUclips tutorial then there should be no stopping you in my opinion
I totally agree!🤗 thank you for sharing your thoughts and for watching!💕😊
You are doing very nicely. Lovely video and your knitting is exquisite
Hi miss Jenny!🥰 Thank you so much, that’s so kind of you!❤️ I wish you a wonderful day and happy knitting!😊
Another great episode! I am excited to be getting some new yarn tomorrow for the Rebel Cardigan by Ankestrick, but I am adding the Kuutar sweater for a project in the near future, it's so lovely! Thank you Wilma!
Thank you so much Carrie!🙏🏻💕 I’m so glad!🥰
Thank you for this podcast and best regards from Helsinki, Finland.
Beautiful video! Love your choices.

Привет, Вилма! Как же Вы красиво вяжете, это просто прекрасно! Жаль, что я не понимаю о чем Вы говорите, но я вижу Ваши работы и они чудесны!❤️🤗
You are a beautiful knitter for not knitting very long. You pick hard patterns, but they are beautiful.
Thank you so much!😊❤️
Jätte kul att följa din RUclips resa! Så himla glad över att det går bra för kanalen! /Kram Vilgot
Tack så mycket Vilgot! ❤️Det betyder mycket!🥰 /kram från storasyster
Thank you so much!🥰💕
Hi from Montreal. 😊 I really enjoy your podcast and I like everything you knit so I have a few new favorites in my Ravelry. 😅 Sound was perfect 🧶
Lovely podcast.😍 I too have some Drops Air to be used up and that is a lovely pattern for it! Filcolana Marzipan is one of my favourite colourways.
Hi! Thank you so much for your comment and for sharing what you are working on!🥰 I hope you have a lovely autumn too!❤️ Happy knitting🌷
On the pattern it reflects, “Next, knit 8 (2) 4 (0) 10 (10) 10 (14) ….”
I appreciate your help!
I actually have it in my “figure it out later” WIP pile. lol No worries! Thank you ☺️
Hi Wilma what a beautiful podcast.your c coffee mug is so cute 😆🐑Your knitting projects are stunning 🤩 I look forward to your future videos to watch your progress 🧶I have just looked for the Jasmine scarf pattern and it is in English with video support on the Purl Soho website if any of your followers want to make it 🌺
Hi! Thank you so much! And thank you for sharing that with me!🥰 I also noticed that the English version of the pattern was available on Ravelry.. 😅 I wish you a wonderful day and happy knitting!😊
Your work is lovely. You’re very talented.
The sound was very good.

I will make sure to point that out the next time a talk about the scarf in a video! Thanks again, and i wish you a lovely day and happy knitting!🌷😊
I love the Terracotta sweater!
Thank you for a lovely podcast, it was very inspiring…all your knits are beautiful! Loved your little sheep mug and wondered if your coaster was knitted too?
Hi Chathrine! Thank you so much!❤️ Yes, I’ve made the coster my self, however it’s actually crocheted 😊
Love your podcasts. Thank you!
That so kind of you! Thank you so much!!😊💕🙏🏼
I love the top it looks like a lovely fit
Nice to see a new episode from you ❤
I am knitting with the yarn on my neck, this is how I've learned from my grandmother and mother.
Happy knitting,
Maria.
