It's horrible and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but they have other children to love, protect and raise. I've never witnessed this either. Though, I really wish this was done with my son. I had to sneak behind a curtain just to watch them close his coffin. Idk if they think they're doing families a favor but I needed to make sure he was in there.

As a funeral director I have never opened a casket at the cemetery. Most cemeteries forbid it. But this seems so peaceful.
