06:00 Cuddy noticing the amount of towels and then the missing cart is fantastic. She has complete control and knowledge of every nook and cranny of her hospital
It reminds me of a very early episode in the series where House says “Because the hospital is her baby. And her baby is sick. And if she doesn’t solve this, her head’s going to explode.”
its call script
@@alblar7904 Thank you! I was just going to comment the same thing! It amazes me that people are actually attaching real world meaning to fictional characters. It's borderline psychotic. If you want to comment about the writers developing the character of Cuddy I totally get that. But to talk like she's a real person and "knows her hospital extremely well" is ludicrous. IT"S A FRIGGIN" SCRIPT PEOPLE!!!
But not realistic.
@@valuedhumanoid6574 I think you're missing the point. People are making a comment on the character by referring to the characters name. I'm having a hard time seeing what is psychotic about that. See, I'll do it myself. Sherlock Holmes is a brilliant detective who has an eye for the smallest details. Cuddy is a character. Commenting that she knows every aspect of the hospital is admiring the details of her character. Sure, of course she know's there are normally four towles because its scripted. Sherlock Holmes would be very impressed by your ability to pick that up. The point is it's in the script to give the impression that she has those characteristics.
And THAT is why she’s the Dean of Medicine. She runs that hospital and isn’t to proud to know how many carts and towels should be in rooms.
*too proud
What some of y'all might not realize at first is just how long it took for Cuddy to actually find that baby during the duration of this episode. Schitt was tense, man.
Something similar to this happened at one of the local hospitals in my area. The hospital was horrifically managed at the time and A stillborn somehow got mixed in with the laundry and was lost for HOURS. The parents sued the ever loving pants off that hospital. The hospital in question is under a new management system that handles most hospitals in the area.
That is so horrifying... thankfully they're under new management. Was this recent or some time ago?
A stillborn? They lost the body of a baby?
Imagine being the person finding that in the laundry
what?? a stillborn or a newborn?
There’s always a fuss over how House is a genius detective, but Cuddy is just as good. She just doesn’t have the obscure knowledge that House does about the most out there of conditions.
For House it's simply an obsession. He's an addict.
@@gwilym1991
I thought it was because he was Sherlock Holmes.
She's not at his level
She's a Mary Sue
@@cwa728 the creators says was inspired from Sherlock Holmes
So happy the baby is alive and also very happy that the kid didn’t do it
I like how Cuddy knows the systems of the hospital, so can deduce a solution without having to call alot of different people to find out how things operate, what things are out of the norm.
I loved the part in this episode when Foreman and Taub are high, Taub says he's gonna try to stand up and Foreman says:
*"Yoooouuul be careful..."* and then does a little head nod and eyebrow raise while still staring up blankly 🤣🤣🤣
What an actress Lisa Edelstein is. Incredibly talented.
1:40 Don't worry, that nurse has seen far worse in her career. Once when she worked in Pasadena, she saw a robot hand grasping a patient's netherlands. She solved that issue as well.
I understood that reference 👁️👁️🫵🏻
Howard
The new mom is the woman who was obsessed with Sheldon too ;)
More bbt crossover ;)
I knew she looked familiar! I also think one of the people in the hospital looked like she battled fairytale monsters
best comment 😂
For how close that laundry basket was close to a door, not far off in a forgotten nook or cranny, someone should have searched it already.
A lot of these medical shows are so cartoonish.
Yeah, this episode was really contrived. Gosh, how did someone get a baby out of this room with nobody seeing it? Was it maybe one of the large rolling carts full of soft, sound-absorbing material? Genius Holmes, how do you do it?
I loved this chapter ! Thanks for posting it!
Madeline from Gilmore Girls briefly gets her act together before almost losing a whole baby
So Ramona got married and had a baby. Guess her obsession crush on Sheldon wore off. Good for her. Overstepping Sheldon's boundaries kissing him she got the hint haha
I think this episode was Jennifer Morrison's final appearance until her cameo in the series finale.
Code Pink is the worst thing to hear over the intercoms.
Code blue as well
I think code black is far worse.
You're getting a bit mixed up. This should have been a code amber. Code Pink is cardiac arrest/other medical emergency involving a child or infant.
@@musclegeek1991 It ultimately depends on the area. For some states, code pink is for missing/abducted child patient while code Amber is for missing/abducted visitor child. For other states, it's as you say and for some its neither. Utah for example doesn't have a color for a missing child, they instead use Code Adam.
@musclegeek1991 I’m pretty sure it varies by state and hospital policy
Wow, the baby aged 3 months in a day, wow.
This episode takes place over 3 months.
@@Aethelia the baby was taken at the start. You think that baby was in that laundry cart for 3 months?
@@BlackCowboy0in real time man

Well they can't exactly use a real 5 week premie baby for a TV show now can they? Usually those are too busy under medical supervision.
Such a great show
That premature baby has a whole lot of hair
it is a tv show. not reality. lol
@@mdlifer8847 wow
it was diagnosed with ligma in the episode
@@NewWesternFrontWho the hell is Steve Jobs?
That happens sometimes.
It's amazing and outstanding to watch how Cuddy knows everyone of her employees, cares about them and treats them with respect and knows her hospital by heart, corner by corner without the need of an assistant or other people. Incredible.
I love this episode sm
thank god it wasn't on purpose. still a terrifying situation. but luckily one without bad intentions.
Such a huge sigh of relief ;-;
Cuddy returning the baby to the parents is one of the wholesome seens ever, why did you cut it?
season 6 is definitely top 3 seasons imo, idk if you guys agree
It’s definitely within top 8
@@iwantmykidssusan4941🤣🤣🤣
That whole hospital and no cameras... wtf
It’s an older series; the world was pretty different ten years ago.
It's also theoretically possible the took the baby somewhere there wasn't cameras and put them in the cart, after which they can move undetected because it's a cart
@Brandon Mcglocklin obviously that was the case as none of them mentioned to check the cameras.
The doctor understood what she had, If it was other place than hospital she would have been sacked lol
Fireman and Taub locked in the personnel records department was hilarious in this episode.
Does this kind lockdown really happen? Medics and nurses locked in rooms? A patient deteriorates and no one can go to them?
*tomska's "wheres the baby" video intensifies
As soon as I saw that woman standing there with her hands tensed and twitching a little in that way i immediately called out “OMG! Help her! She’s having a seizure!!”
But I guess that would be expected knowledge of an epileptic. Lol
I remember a few absence seizures where I was the tiniest bit of aware just not of what was happening. I could hear sounds which I knew were someone talking and only one way to answer without being a snot was just to nod or say yeah. Especially if I recognized the tone as asking if I was ok. I could recognize the tone of voice which came with saying their name, my name, but that was it. I couldn’t understand what they were saying just that they were saying. But definitely on autopilot. And sometimes paranoia would set in where I’d get scared where I want to do something just don’t know if I should. Like thinking I was seeing and smelling mustard gas coming out of the vents of my house. I knew that wasn’t right but still scared. It’s a creepy trip through a thick fog when you are somewhat aware during those things.
I loved Vernee Watson here.
1:24 I know it's a clever transition but i don't see the point in having a screen showing the cctv from a hallway right next to the screen and in the direction you would be facing to look at the screen.
Well that's television for ya 🤣 someone would've definitely heard that baby before then
And there are these things called cameras
Hey, she was in a soft, warm place.... 🤗
Beautiful
Cuddy does the Sherlock Holmes thing. Cool.
I'm a bit confused how the police missed the baby in the cart in the middle of the corridor... that's been there since the start of the lockdown, right?
Awesome clip, but post the part where the mom gets the baby back.
Normally, that older brother would get family therapy and that minor nurse getting better anti-epilepsy drugs. However, the damdest thing is that these borderline mental habits are also genetic like memories. Is that kid having the Cain&Abel curse and the nurse accidentally triggering a false memory that is incomplete? How in creations name are we still alive if we got these issues?!
1:42 Vernee Watson is majorly undercast for this role!!?
Lisa Cutty: Baby Hunter
The **real** mystery is how did baby not suffocate?! 😱
Cute baby a how sad
This is a code pink, and when that happens, the whole hospital enters in a lockdown, where nobody leaves until the baby is found.
No, it's a code amber. Code Pink is cardiac arrest/other medical emergency involving a child or infant.
Cuddy, TCB.
I've known a few women like that. They run the show. Thank God. Impressive.
Ok thats cool. I'm getting myself together now. Ok thats cool. Worse case you can come in the side door.
here i come
So the hair standing up on one arm and not the other....how common is that? I've had that happen several times and I've wondered if it meant anything.
Also the leg on the same side of the body.....if it's relevant my son has had odd shaking that was only on one side his body too. It's stopped happening though. (I had consulted doctors and he passed the seizure test)
@@sackettfamily4685 go talk to a doctor, not youtube comments. You're taking queues from a tv show and asking random people of any age medical questions. Stop. Go talk to a doctor.
yes you are having seizure and will die seven days. im surry
@@avatarofdeath it's not a current issue, for myself or my son. I can't remember when the last time it happened though. Thanks for being concerned for me though!
I just thought it might be interesting to see what the house fans thought about this as a real symptom.
Im 75% sure I mentioned it to my doctor and they brushed it off. And Google didn't seem to have anything at the time.
This mother later tries to smother her baby as well right? Lol or am I thinking of different episode?
yup, diff. episode

Years from now she'll be telling her grandkids the story.
Lisa Edelstein is a dream.
Is that Ricki Lindhome?
It's naturally impossible to not be in love with Jesse Spencer, so I don't believe that subplot at all.
Is it a good time to bring up this actress is in Garfunkel and Oates?
That is Canadian actress Katheryn Winnick best known for Vikings and Dark Tower. Your thinking of Riki Lindhome known for the Last House on the Left and Knives Out. They were both born in 1979 and look similar.

That is NOT a premature baby.
It's almost like you can't rent premature babies for tv props on account a NICU nurse would remove your ribs and play them like a xylophone right in front of you if you tried to take one from the things keeping them alive.

Why is there no game in his DS?
That's what I was wondering. Could be a lighting issue making it look like it's missing or he's playing a GBA in the bottom slot, but it looks weird, lol.
There isn’t even a cartridge in the nintendo… shameful.
Could be one in the GBA slot if it's a regular DS.
The kid or brother did it …./
8:00 - Sorry dudes, but that is NOT a newborn!

I'm just sayin'...
...
Yeah, using an actual newborn on set is an excellent idea.... 😏
Okay who saw Emma from OUAT
So did the older brother do it did he whant to killbher? Or was it just run of the mile sibling rivalry
Neither.
No, the nurse who was taking towels to the patients room had a seizure that basically caused her to autopilot and put the baby in a towel cart, the brother didn't do anything to her other than pinch her
