Steppin' Out June 20th, 2024

Steppin' Out host Peggy Scott Laborde welcomes Poppy Tooker and Alan Smason. Also appearing is Gwen Thompkins, host of the public radio program "Music Inside Out," which can be heard at musicinsideout.org.
Making her Steppin' Out debut is Denise Augustine, owner of Our Sacred Stories Tour Company and professional storyteller. She will preview the annual Source Ancienne St. John's Eve Headwashing Ceremony (a form of Voodoo baptism) to be held on Bayou St. John this Sunday.
