What a great riff rollercoaster and great soloing carried by a right on rhythm track that doesn't get too repetitive, really my new favorite pike of this classic Buckethead style.
The great Buckethead is far too deep for the world we live in. I had the chance of a lifetime to discover the brilliant Buckethead who has no limit in the power of expression and transmission of messages to us. Thank you every time with a lot of respect and consideration for the extraordinary strength and talent that Big Buckethead possesses.
No one can do what Buckethead does. All the greats can play like this for a minute or so, but 15 or 30 minutes straight. No f'n way. It's not just the physical playing, but hearing it this fast and being able to keep playing so musical and in tone. No one can hear these solos like this in their head and keep playing without stopping....except buckethead.
Awesome Pike! BH is in a league of his own . it has that great rocking sound we all love and the last 8 minutes or so is just EPIC like only Bucket can shred it! Outstanding!!! God bless Brian Patrick Carrol...
Oftentimes whilst listening to Buckethead i say to myself " this is the best music I've ever heard. But I have said that myriad times. Some bands may have a song or a solo or a riff or a lick, or maybe even 2 or 3 that i fall in love with. But now Buckethead does that to me again and again, and my mind is blown, and my face melted clean off. Just a note bent can cleave my soul atwain or rip my guts asunder
I was gradually losing interest in the pike series having followed since 2014 but some of the latest releases have been incredible, not least this one. Love this pike.
Yeah, I found, roughly the 6 months from late 2022 to around April 2023 to be tough going, bar the odd exception. But there has been a real uptick in quality recently.
Thankyou Buckehead ! 🪣 and to you as well NatterNet 🪄 Wow ! 😮 That was so …🤔 Incredible ! Yes I will go with that! 😄 there was a bit of everything in that one 👍🏻 metal , funk , old school rock , slower sections and some moments that were just pure Buckethead and unlike anything else … I liked that number a lot ! There was even a few spots in there that sounds similar to John Lord ( R.I.P. 🪦) the keyboard player from Deep Purple! Who was also an amazing musician 😊 I’m sure he would approve👍🏻🤟🏻🪣🎸👑 Buckethead’s endless creativity just makes me smile 😊 as he takes my mind into places it’s never been before. No one else out there can do what he does.
I imagine Buckethead hibernates in a mausoleam in Colma, CA for a couple years and is given inspiration from the maggot dreams and rises like a flock of slunks to crack the sky
It's an absolute masterpiece. The more I listen to it, the more astonishing it gets. The way it builds, the way the tempo of the chords increases, the repeated melodies, the riffs around 17-20 minutes, the guitar entry for the solo, the palm muting about 90 seconds from the end. It might sound sacrilegious, but I'd put it above Pike 65, it is THAT good.
@VenLon I feel philosophical I can feel bucketheads emotions the track name is reminiscent to me as a way of isolating yourself and wanting things to go back in time but seeing it through a tree house of innocence a tree house of pure emotion and love for all the things and people that has passed away or moved on. I love buckethead
Im incredulous of the licks at 29:13. I've never heard anything like it on guitar. For 30 years I've been listening to all the greats- Megadeth, Carcass, Death, Dream Theatre, Andy LaRoque, Marty Friedman, etc. And now they are all just a bore
My dream home is a living tree house. When I finally accomplish this dream I will invite Bucket over for tea. Me & Big B having Tea in a Tree by the Sea! 🧝🏼♀️🪣🎸🫖🍵🍵🌲🌊 Wouldn't that be Neat?! Tree shaping is a pretty rad art. Makes me wonder why anyone would ever want to cut a tree down when it can be shaped. I just love how much Bucket writes about the trees. 💚🌲💚 He is The Treeman! 🍃💚🌲🌳🌲💚🍃 🌲🌳[//]:^)🌳🌲

no doubt, this pike just smokes!
This pike left me speechless
The last 7 minutes or so. The master at work.
that's because I bought this album on bandcamp for higher price he requested. masterpiece
Buckethead is very compatible with time travel 🧭
Yes 🙌🏻 & I believe he also is compatible with astral travel as well! 🌌🌠
Makes me think that "Buckethead is Father Time"
Now THIS is a return to form! Incredible solo. And there is something immense about a solo that hits after a 20-minute slow-burn!
this guy is unparalleled, what a masterpiece!!!

Yes mate, this is so fat it needs to be on a diet. Damn good show B & all involved. Top regards from the UK.

My lord, just an amazing sound. Been a fan of Buckethead for years and I think this is one of my favorites of his already. Just wow!
Gets better with every listen. It's absolutely up there with the best one-track Pikes, without a doubt.

The musical ideas flow from BH like an endless river, my gob once more smacked.
This is just absolutely incredible 🤯

Excellent, Tight Rhythm.
As I said before, he is from a distant past and from a distant future, narrating mysterious stories to us on guitar strings.

Oufffff monstrueux de talent ❤
Another gem from the g.o.a.t !
1st the pikes barrage was too much for me an I yearned for a tour but holy cow has he been cranking out the bangers too many to carry!
Woooooooo🤟🤟
I wonder if he writes this ahead of time and rehearses...or just hits the record button and starts jamming-once again phenomenal~!
I'd say he almost certainly just hits record and off he goes.
very hard to predict how a genius's head works.
he just has the ideas in his head, right I'm going do this and see where it goes, boom press record, go
My Buckethands! All Buckethead all the time better than Love
Wow just wow❤❤❤❤

The BEST & GREATEST guitarist to EVER, EVER, EVER to ARRIVE & ENTER into the guitar world
AWESOME & PHENOMENAL

What effects does one need to acquire such a crazy tone

❤perfect
Kind of sounds like kiss of death by
Dokken, it has the same George Lynch guitar tone.
Maybe y'all call me crazy, but this one reminds me in epicity of pike 65 'hold me forever' omg and that SOLO ImI.
🫠
Amazing!
Oneiric pool : the lost track
Did you have a treehouse when you were young?
