It’s so gratifying listening to this book, I get to hear my name every minute lol... Took me a while to figure out where my name came from. Very cool thanks for the upload.
well,. the doctor demonstrated how to make babies with models of genitalia after claiming the girl was a virgin and the husband bragged about 'putting it to her' every night...so, 'what was the husband doing he thought was sex?' was my first question. I figure the enraged husband was so stupid he tried to pot it in her butt or something...there's some implied joke there that maybe is a bit too much for the times, maybe, I dunno
At 3:51:02 the narrator reads A.T. Chapman however in my copy of Catch 22 it says R.O Shipman. So which one is it? Is the Chaplins name R.O Shipman or A.T Chapan? Perhaps it’s both. I wouldn’t be too surprised if that were the case in a book like this!
I should probably revisit this one. I highly recommend it to you folks at home, too. Reading is good for you. It's like pt for your ability to think and form your own individual thoughts. Try it sometime. I promise it won't hurt.
I read this many years ago and actually enjoyed the ridiculousness. NOW , however in 2023, this hits home a little too hard. The absurdity is ACTUALLY coming to fruition.
cinema for the head... curious how we mere mortals can comprehend the doings of weirdo military types on our behalf. Partly autobiographical I believe. Heller seemed to want to share and at the same time exorcise some demons... hope it worked.
