❤Thank you but how did you manage to do all this ❤and thank you for doing this because I need to do chapter 4,12,37 for exam... So thank you for doing that ❤🎉😊
Excellent reading for a masterpiece. "Around the world in 80 Days " is simply marvellous. Have read the book and now listening to the audio book for more pleasure.
I had lost my book two days ago at school and needed to finish reading the rest of the book by April 5th. Still haven't found it, but this had saved me!
Mr. Phileas Fogg lived, in 1872, at No. 7, Saville Row, Burlington Gardens, the house in which Sheridan died in 1814. He was one of the most noticeable members of the Reform Club, though he seemed always to avoid attracting attention; an enigmatical personage, about whom little was known, except that he was a polished man of the world. People said that he resembled Byron--at least that his head was Byronic; but he was a bearded, tranquil Byron, who might live on a thousand years without growing old. Certainly an Englishman, it was more doubtful whether Phileas Fogg was a Londoner. He was never seen on 'Change, nor at the Bank, nor in the counting-rooms of the "City"; no ships ever came into London docks of which he was the owner; he had no public employment; he had never been entered at any of the Inns of Court, either at the Temple, or Lincoln's Inn, or Gray's Inn; nor had his voice ever resounded in the Court of Chancery, or in the Exchequer, or the Queen's Bench, or the Ecclesiastical Courts. He certainly was not a manufacturer; nor was he a merchant or a gentleman farmer. His name was strange to the scientific and learned societies, and he never was known to take part in the sage deliberations of the Royal Institution or the London Institution, the Artisan's Association, or the Institution of Arts and Sciences. He belonged, in fact, to none of the numerous societies which swarm in the English capital, from the Harmonic to that of the
Wow what a good story. I already knew how it would end as I’ve seen the old movie several times but I was still held in suspense at the end. Great job narrating. On to the next one!
Hey to anyone who thinks he talks slow, here's a tip. I always get really annoyed because a lot of audiobook readers talk slow, but thats because there are some people who NEED to have it slowly read to them. If you aren't one the few, heres what to do. Click the gear tool in the bottom right hand corner. Then, click on speed. You can actually go slower as well, but you can go faster. I don't suggest doing this if you just want to get the book over with though. Only do this if you can't handle him talking slow. If you speed it up just to make the book go by faster, it won't do much.. it might save you two or three minutes in the end, so don't make the talking go faster unless you need to :) This also works with any other audio books on RUclips
FYI i had some trouble with this if anybody is wondering when it says the time stamps of when the chapters are its about how long they are not when they are in the video figured that out the hard way... But yeah just add the times and then you got where the next chapter is gonna be. This is just for people that need this information. And also thanks for the audio book
nice ......................this chapter is given in my book but i can't understand by sir ......................... .😃😃😃😃😃😃😃............... . . . but now I understand thanks
Going into the custom speed menu and listening at 1.15 speed is actually perfect. 1 is too slow, but 1.25 is way too fast, especially when you are doing something else at the same time.
Great reading, thank you. The new amazon series just came out, its early 2022. What a mess they made of a great story. Phineas is shown to be a bumbling fool. I could not watch past episode 1.
10:28 could anyone possibly clarify this statement uttered by the enigmatic and mathematical Phileas Fogg : if Passepartout's watch is 4 minutes too slow and it indicates at that moment 11:22 then how come that the time at that instant , as declared by Fogg , is 11:29 ?!
@@tara5807 aah , thank you , a reply at last ! well, don't you think that the time - passing took practically no time . there's a theory though that i have to explain it , if you find funny then maybe everything is not wasted. could Jules Verne was writing this novel of his in Australia and instead of writing the figure 6 ( as in 11:26 ) he decided to write it as the figuire 9 to make us laugh .
