Oh, how lovely! Good afternoon from a sunny day in Florida, USA. I have just gotten into embroidery and textile art over the past few months, and two of your books were the first I purchased. I enjoy creating pieces from scraps of fabric and adding lots of hand stitching. This was such a relaxing video and I LOVE the birds! This is my first taste of your channel and I’m looking forward to watching many more. Thank you!❤
I just love how you stitch. Your wee videos of you doing a repetitive stitch is good. I can study how you do stitches. How it all fits in. You are never boring
Oh, those birds are making such a fabulous song all together. And your stitching gives me wonderful inspiration to stitch today. PS - I love your book. Have a good swim.💙💚💛
Gorgeous snippet roll I love how they are separate little works of art Your book has arrived and I must say it is absolutely amazing, already done a bit of stitching from it ❤
The utube Goddess blessed me this morning showing me your video. Subscribed and put your book on my Amazon list. Thank you for showing your beautiful work 😊
Not boring in the least! Just found you and am totally absorbed in your process. I love it. Can't wait to explore your channel further. Thank you! Have a wonderful Sunday.
Love, love, love your videos. You have gotten me stitching after a long hiatus (decades). Would love to see videos of your quilt projects - as that is also something that has gone by the wayside in my life...and seeing your approach may inspire me to pick up again!
“Dammit Janet!” Made me laugh out loud and reminded me of university days oh so long ago watching Rocky Horror with friends😂. Lovely snippet again today. Hope you had a peaceful swim 😊
Good morning from Colorado. It’s a lovely morning, took a 2 mile walk and now drinking my coffee and enjoying your stitching with the wonderful sound in your area, thank you, enjoy your swim.
Good morning Jennifer and all from the beautifully cool Blue Ridge Mountains of Tennessee!! My Sunday is starting wonderfully because it's starting out with you! What a joy to see you this am! I had No idea where you were going to go with the flowered piece of fabric, but of course, you've done it with ease. Beautiful as usual. The butcher bird, I had to look it up. What a butcher bird it was and why it was called that and what an interesting bird that is!! Amazing actually! Have a good swim and enjoy the day we've been given. See you next time!
Thank you Jennifer for your video and sharing your snippets time, knowledge and wonderful birdsong with us. I bead a lot and used a piece of card for a long time if I had a bead spill. I now have a tiny bead shovel and a bead scoop ( long /slim scoop) they are really cheap but built for the job, bead spills sorted in half the time. I like that your snippet roll has separate mini scenes as often your thoughts change so why not your stitching. Have a lovely swim ,I am 10 miles from the sea here in the UK, but it depends on weather and pollution unfortunately as to when swimming is possible. Have a swim for us all😂😂.
I love starting the day with your videos also! So much prettier sounds than listening to the NYC traffic. And I always get a new stitching tip. For the beads: I saw an IG video where you put the cuff of a sock around your vacuum cleaner tube. Push the sock inside the tube, holding tight to the sock cuff. Then vacuum. All of the beads go in the sock so you can pour them back into your tin.
I have to tell you that I stock you. I have never sent a comment before. But you are my #1 inspiration. I watch others, but I usually turn the sound off, as I couldn't concentrate on stitching. You are a wonderful teacher, and you don't live in my neighborhood. So, this Idaho, USA girl sends a big hug to you and your generosity in helping me grow in creativity and successful stitching. (I liked the camera closer to your work)
Hi Jennifer from a wet and windy Scotland. Thank you so much for inspiring me to do embroidery at 78. I have stitched all my life and look forward to doing some “bubbles of delight” guided by your wonderful books. Please keep the videos coming, they are really appreciated. Many thanks Angela
Thank you Jennifer. A lovely start to Sunday in the UK watching you stitch. When I spill my beads I use a sheet of paper to run under then to collect them up. I don't get them all in one swoop but it does gather a lot of them. Love hearing the tropical birds in the background. 😊❤
I like your videos Jenny, ignore the comments below I have to finish a quilt for a club exhibition and intend to give your book a thorough workout. Don’t think I have ever bern so inspired to rush off and have a go, thanks. I look forward to your videos coming out xx❤
As usual Jenny I am learning so many little tricks from you as you chat along. There is SO much that a beginner doesn’t know but you make it fun. I am sitting out on my balcony here in Atlanta and our weather today is perfect for drinking a cup of coffee and watching your beautiful stitching. Thanks, Betty
I love your work and your daily snippets. I just discovered your channel and love it. I ordered your book Freeform Embroidery. Thanks for sharing! ❤ Linda from Ontario Canada.
Thank you so much for showing us how you adhere a small piece of silk ribbon to the back with another thread as opposed to putting a knot in it. I'm talking about when you are down to just a small piece after you have done all of your stitches. I always feel like I'm wasting silk ribbon when I tie it in a knot in the back with it. It is such an expensive and valuable textile to work with.
Good morning Jennifer I enjoyed the snippet play today. I sometimes have issues using buttons, the have to be small ones for me to use them. Enjoy your swim. TFS🌴💕
Hi Jenny - I’m loving where your snippet roll is going. I really like that each tells its own story. Enjoy your Sunday. Your beach is just gorgeous. To live near the water is a dream of mine. I love water - the sounds, the view, the sand between my toes, finding pretty shells and sharks teeth, I could go on and on!!! Happy Week to you 🏝
I have tipped over my beads too! My favorite way to get them back where they belong is to slide a sheet of paper under them and then hold the paper over the box and in they go. Good luck and thanks for visiting with us today❤️
My morning is full. Going to my friends to water her patio pots. She is visiting a new grand baby. Then to church. If I was close to an ocean a dip in the water would be there. But since I am 12 hours away from the ocean it will be a walk in my back yard. We have young hawks that are learning to fly thru our trees. They squak and sing. They are so fun to watch. When their parents show up with a meal the sounds change. It's very entertaining. Thank you so much for the video. It's a great way to start my day. Oh ya, to pick up the beads, your card would be perfect to scoop the beads❤
Holaaaa Jennifer!!me encanta estar contigo unos minutos, siempre saco algunas ideas para adaptarlas a lo que tengo 😊gracias por estar!!! ❤feliz domingo para ti🤗
I watch your videos at the end of the day. I was up so late one night last week, the sun came up. I thought, holy ba-jeebers, what is that? So, today I cut up my husband’s tomatoes for the dehydrator and read a book. Made over-night oatmeal and coffee/cappuccino for a cold coffee drink in the morning. My morning begins around 11 am. Remember, I stay up late. I enjoyed watching your snippet-work. As someone else wrote, it’s better for me if the camera is close to the work. I watch via tv rather than on a small screen. Luv ya! 💜💜💜 Luv purple! 😮
Wow! How to transfer a raggy bit of fabric into something beautiful! I’m off shortly to close down our annual arts exhibition. I’ve sold 2 artworks but not my embroideries..but still time until the end of the day 🤞.

Rina, so am I! I am desperate to get a copy to my parents in Margate. I checked with Exclusive Books who sold my other books - but they don’t seem to stock it. Maybe they will get it in a few months. I know that France is waiting for theirs too. Everybody ran out of stock. I will keep you updated. Xxx
Hi Jennifer. I have a question. I have tried sewing with 1/8" silk ribbon, but I can't get it through my linen or cotton fabrics. I have even used needle-nosed pliers to pull it through. Do you have any suggestions. I love the silk flowers in your books. I am really enjoying your Freeform book too. Thanks so much. ❤ from New York State.
Hi Paula I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your silk ribbon. Here are a few things to make sure you do when working with silk ribbon: You must use a chenille #22 needle for silk ribbon. Have you threaded the needle correctly? @jenniferclouston7545 Thanks Jennifer. Even though my ribbon was sold as silk, I have a feeling it is synthetic. It's not soft. I will definitely look for the correct ribbon. I enjoy watching the videos and appreciate all the inspiration. ❤️
