Thank you. I love this stitch also but when I try to make it flow around a curve, it sometimes looks wonky. Now I will keep reciting "make a perfect V" as I stitch. Super tip.
hehehe no not totally ditched quilting just going to downscale it now. Not making double bed size quilts. But do mainly hand stitching all my scraps to just enjoy them!@@jenniferclouston7545
Yes this video on feather stitch was helpful. I will practice on a piece for my snippet booklet and when I’ve finished prepping my purse base I will put some onto it!! Fun fun fun! Being in the USA I knew my thread pack would take awhile but happy to know they’ve now been mailed!!❤ Nancy.

Thank you for the clear instructions. Really helpful. The main problem I have with my embroidery is I tend to make my stitches too small. Do you have any tips that may help me out?
When doing the feather stitch bigger try making the thread wider first / that will force you to make the stitch longer. I know, from experience teaching, that trying to get people to make their stitches bigger is quite a challenge! Good luck!
