Let me know in the comment below if you found useful the info during per game results and if you think that it's better to show side by side runs instead of the chart that I showed in this video
Great video! but please fix the graphs, they are very difficult to read. Have the game and setting at the top and the CPU's on the side would make it much more readable
Well, that will mean that I have to do that for each game. The reason for that graph is to pull all the data from the side by side runs. I had the impresion that is easy to read. You have the legends at the top. Each bar represents the 1% low and average value. The legends at the top, from left to right, ar displayed per game from top to bottom.
The latest windows has slowed down AMD. I was watching people get an average 40 FPS more when comparing windows 10 to the latest windows. In addition to that, the 3D cache will work correctly if its on a motherboard that has only used a 3D cache CPU. There is a lot we have to do to get our 3D cache to work properly if a none 3D cache has ever been installed on that same motherboard. You probably know, this. These are things for commenters to consider.
I’ve never hear of this before, I wanting to upgrade my 7600 to an x3d chip in the future. Will I need a new motherboard or do you have any resources to help me get it working. Thanks
No, it's just better to reinstall windows and after install the chipset driver. If you just swap CPUs you may have lower performance. Your motherboard should detect that you have installed a new CPU, and it should reset BIOS to default.
This is totally incorrect, for one the branch code update on windows 11 fixed the performance disparity and two, no it does NOT matter what CPU you have had on your board previously, it's the windows install as the thread scheduler will not properly be set to a dual CCD 3D cache setup and it does not at all matter with the 7800X3D. A simple fresh windows fixes the problem, or you can fix it yourself by manually setting the proper services
@@pvtvenom the update is not prepared for a wide release. Its not “totally incorrect” And yeah the 3D cache is still an issue if you are putting in a new 3D cache CPU on the same motherboard that did not have 3d cache prior. A fresh windows install MAY now be all it needs after this needs update. I can’t confirm or deny that, cause ive only seen recent posts about finding the fix which included a lot of work to do.
Why do you say these are fake results. Do you expect that having more L3 cache wins in every game? This is not the case. Some games benefit from high speed clocks. This is why the 14900k with it's single core 6000+mhz enjoys wins in sime games. And the 9700x with is single core 5500+ mhz will get some wins. Sure if I use 1080p, high settings probably the 7800x3D CPU will have more wins

Great comparison, I think I will pick 9700x stock one.
You could wait a few days and see how the 9800x3D performs.
@ will you do a 9800x3D vs 7800x3D comparison when it is on the market?
Yes, I will buy it. But as always I will be late to the party as I have to buy it when ityavaiy
It's better to show side by side runs in order to check the results : many channels post fake results.
ok, noted. I wanted to do so but 5 side by side videos looked toooooo crowded
@@casuallygamin9 2 side by side : only the 2 best configurations.
@@passionne836 ok, thanks for the input. How about voice over where I share info for the side by side?
@@casuallygamin9 Voice not too often otherwise it will be tiring.

Yes, this is why I'm doing a clean install. I will next compare W11 vs W10
