Thank you Terry. Your videos keep getting better and better. Love the choice of music, especially the orchestral pieces that made it feel like a feature film! Enjoyed the close ups of the wildlife as well. With your videos I really feel as if you have taken me walking with you. Thanks again, and best wishes for next year.
Hi Terry, fantastic video mate, as you say a magical combination of Autumn colours and the white of the snow, I love the crunch under foot as well. Thanks for all the great videos you have brought us this year, hope you have a very happy Christmas and New Year. Cheers Glyn.
wow a walk in the snow, one could really feel your heart dance with joy as you filmed that snow field, and the music is just perfect! Ho Ho Ho Happy Christmas to all of you! 🎅 Good idea to walk the Ackling Dyke road, maybe with some of your interesting little detours... Looking forward to that.
Stunning thanks so much for sharing and all the joy you have brought this year with your beautiful walks look forward to more in the new year thanks Terry xx
Absolutely made my Christmas thanks Terry! I am always sorry when the video comes to an end and you say goodbye! I can't believe it's been 45 mins or more, seems like 5. The ultimate compliment! May you be blessed this year and next, and good health and strength be with your ankle!
Lovely walk - really enjoyed that. I used to love running round those ramparts as a child - only in summer though. It always seemed magical. I thought the shots of the old man's beard in the hedgerows was appropriate!
No, you're not old. You're the same age as me, so you can't be! You do have a beard though, like the plant. I don't have one of those😂. Have a lovely Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you, thank you for your walks this year, I’ve enjoyed every one of them. Hope your ankle carries you on to many more walks in 2025 x
Lovely winter views, snow is rare down south as you say although when I was a kid there was more of it as I remember and also that winter of 62/63, these days snow one day gone the next just too warm, which is probably just as well with the ever rising cost of fuel these days.
Nice walk! Back to Frank Sinatra..... Dreaming of a white Christmas...... That isn't either going to happen in Denmark this year. Wish you a merry Christmas and thanks for your nice videoes!
A very Merry Christmas to you too Terry 🎅, a beautiful seasonal ramble. Whenever I've visited Badbury Rings I'm always mind-boggled by the amount of man hours and back-breaking work that must have gone into its construction, and all without mechanical diggers and battery drills 😊, mind you the same goes for churches and cathedrals, and don't get me started on the pyramids 😲. The King Down clay is the same as what I have to contend with in my local area, which definitely doesn't make for pleasant walking! The Ackling Dyke walk really would make a great video, something to seriously consider. I hope Santa fills your stocking on Wednesday, have a good one. Bev
Thanks so much Bev. Yes, people put in an amazing amount of work in those days. I find it hard to imagine the feeling when told you have to dig out those ramparts 😱 All the very best for Christmas and the New Year. Terry
Lovely Xmasy crispy golden leafy walk. What are the trees in the copse before coming out in the snowy field?Beech,Ash ?Thx for sharing.Merry Xmas from the Philippines😅
Really lovely ❤ Do you use any map paper or satellite? Or do you just know your surroundings well enough to walk without? I live in Dorset but I’m sure if I tried this I’d get totally lost 😂
Ah, thanks Lisa 😀 Oftentimes I just know my way but if I am in unfamiliar territory, I use my phone app mostly. Sometimes I like to use a paper may still though 😀
@terryyarrow1230 oh thank you. I'm really enjoying this video. The sound of the snow underfoot is superb. I do love Badbury Rings and to see it with snow is such a treat. Thank you so much. 😊

Lovely walk - really enjoyed that. I used to love running round those ramparts as a child - only in summer though. It always seemed magical. I thought the shots of the old man's beard in the hedgerows was appropriate!
Thanks Angela 😀 As for old man's beard, maybe it should be middle aged man's beard 🤣 Although I guess I am technically old 🤣
No, you're not old. You're the same age as me, so you can't be! You do have a beard though, like the plant. I don't have one of those😂. Have a lovely Christmas.
